xe800 Thanks for the heads up. Since there is still no word on the steam release I may pick up the GamersGate version. What was done to fix it? I see no word of it over there but the complaints where taken down. Was it just updated? cercia That Farland Symphony Looks pretty cool. It reminds me a bit of Final Fantasy Tactics, probably my favorite PSX game. Am I correct in that assumption. If so I'm going to have to get it.

They have put up the text "Updated to run on 64-bit Windows OS!" on the game page, that is all I know. Whatever they did, it worked like a charm for me.

Anyone tried "Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls"? I loved the Wizardry-series (esp. 8), but I'm not sure if these japanese-originated Wizardries are of the same kind?

Well I just finished the demo and it was awesome. I loved the combat system. You can't just run in mashing the attack button. It takes thought and skill. It is such a rewarding system. The AI both for your team mates and the enemies is actually very good.
The demo is only the prologue so there is not to much to talk about story wise. It does leave you off wanting more though so I have high hopes its going to be great.
The graphics while not HD level are still quite nice looking. Though the game is very cutesy. While not a problem for me it may be for some. For instance my brother has always liked rpgs just like me but the cuteness would prevent him from trying it.
They claim the demo to take 1 to 3 hours and I finished it right at 3. This was going everywhere trying to find books and items and talking to everyone. So the 20 to 30 hour claim for the full game should have me finishing closer to 30 which is a nice game time and definitely worth the price.
I have only two minor complaints. The first would be that the music, while fitting, is very repetitive. I ended up playing while listening to other music. The second is that I wish you could save anywhere. I no longer have the ability to play for long periods of time with the kiddo always needing something. So it would be nice If I could just save and quit whenever I needed to.
This is definitely one I'm going to buy though and I recommend it without reservation.
