Thankfully there was no additional tax, the paperwork was just more complicated than I'd first expected. The American government doesn't make things easy. I wish they'd put everything in PLAIN friggin' ENGLISH than just, you know, legal moonspeak. I'm still working to refine my business practices in a more user-friendly and cost-effective way, so it might not even be as bad as I'd mentioned. Plus I'm in the process of job-hunting -- if all works out with that, my prices won't be as steep. (While I charge roughly half as much as my competitors under the new ruleset, I'm still thinking there's some way I can have my cake and eat it too -- keeping my userbase intact and my prices cheap.)
Services will be changed (for the better) in... I'd give it about 19 days. Anyone who has any input or suggestions regarding changes that could be made to policies, structure, pricing, and so on and so forth, please feel free to comment. Thank you.
