After playing the game in short spurts for several months, I finally finished the game. My only 2 complaints on an otherwise very enjoyable game.
1)I completed all 20 quests and I didnt like the Pikkard quest. Even though half of them were very easy to find by just warping to nearby obelisks, some of these critter locations I just looked up online because I didnt want to search all over the land to find them.
2)One thing I hate about RPG's is grinding and Ys 7 thankfully didnt feel that way until the last dungeon. Those damn Soul Stones took forever to get in order to synthesize the ultimate weapons in the game. 50 stones for each character was way too much plus 10 or so more for their armor. It took me like 2 hours of grinding to get the materials needed for the last weapons.
I will say that the end boss was very satisfying having the team split up into 3 layers. Very Very cool. I am proud to say that I have beat every Ys game including the various versions of IV and V.
Looking forward to the Vita version of IV!
