Anyone ever play this? It's always been one of my favorites. Very deep story and the combat system was enjoyable as well.

In terms of story, not many games rate up against it.
The jumping "puzzles" got old though, real fast. Otherwise, one of my favorite games.

Wow, I can't stand the XenoSaga. I'll admit that XenoGears was BY FAR the best of the three, but I thought it was hokey, arbitrary, pretentious nonsense wrapped around terrible graphics and even worse gameplay!

The story was quite good but the gameplay was terrible imo. Still it was a good experience.

I loved the game, but since then I have played better RPGS. I love Xenogear's deep storyline, but the game wasn't really that fun. Xenogears would have made a better graphic novel in my opinion.

I refer you to my signature. Xenogears 'tis my favorite RPG. Awesome story, brilliant characters, and a combat system that -I- actually did enjoy. Just wish the second disc had been finished.

Why? 15 hours of unnecessary exposition is a BAD way to end a game? ;p

i loved the 2nd disc, who cares if there was little to no gameplay for most of it? still a great experience. xenosaga, not so much. it's taken me about a year to get 20 hours into that game, it's difficult to the point of frustration a lot of the time.
