Looks like we're not going to get a v1.1 of the patch Oh well. It's good a cheap non import version of Ys origin is coming to the west.

As long as the Steam version IS v1.1 of the translation. I don't wanna pay $15 for a game with as many spelling and grammar errors as some $.99 iPhone game
...despite the legging description about protection from extreme head being very damned funny

Yunica's job is to keep the Goddesses happy so having good knee pads is essential...
And I suspect that XSEED will be giving the script a once-over anyways.

Huzzah! Sticking with the original Japanese instead of trying to "enhance" it. Reminds me of one friend who complained that you could do custom drum fills in Beatles Rock Band when activating overdrive/star power/mojo. He said he could make the songs sound better.... ;P

See, you describe enhancing the translation there. A welcome practice and very much the norm for modern translations.. I was talking about "enhancing" the translation by adding stuff that wasn't there in the original because it used repeated empty treasure chest text or was thought to be so mundane that it should be replaced with a pop culture reference. , again

If you're put in something, you might as well make it an inside joke and keep a reference to "protection from extreme head"
