Hi Xalphenos,
I decided to go ahead and purchase 3 x $10 USD units at AliExpress and I have that sitting in an order with a valid Order Number.
However, when I attempt to use that Order Number in the TBA site where it asks for Amount: and Order number, I enter the Amount and the Order number and it simply tells me: "Failure to submit, please contact the administrator." And there doesn't appear to be a Administrator to contact as the links in the footer are broken links. Did you have any issues when you first submitted your amount and order numbers?
Perhaps their service is just temporarily down or perhaps there needs to be a specific format for the amount. I do know that my order with AliExpress is still processing currently, so that might also be the problem.

Actually I'm about 99% certain I skipped that step. I did it pretty late at night and when I woke up the next morning It was in my TBA account.
Edit: Its odd though the page has changed since I used it. So maybe they are just updating it.

Actually try www.go2tao.com Its the same website as TBA. Use your same login info and everything. Should be able to submit there.

Sounds good, I'll wait as well and see what happens after 24 hours.
Edit: Thanks, I was able to login to this as well and you are right, same login and items saved to my cart (5 keys for Ys Seven) but still didn't process the Order number and Amount. I'll wait 24 hours and I'll update my findings then. I'm probably just not giving it enough time to process.

I think my experience ended up being slightly more problematic than Xalphenos since it seemed that their submit button did not work originally to let the TBA staff know about my order with AliExpress. There are ways to send messages to both the TBA staff support team inside of the backend of the User Account once you are logged in, as well as through asking the customer service agent at AliExpress that is assigned to your open order there, so even though it took a little longer for me, the process was virtually the same and I placed my order for the 5 keys tonight. Hopefully I'll get them tomorrow.
I may keep one extra key for myself, which would leave me with 3 more. I might ask some close friends here if they are interested in purchasing one of my extras and if they are not, I'll list any extras I have at the marketplace. Price would be $6 each.
Xalphenos, is it alright if I use your download link for the complete installer you had uploaded earlier to provide to anyone new that is interested in a CD Key?
And again, thanks for your help.
Edit: I have now received my 5 Unique CD-Keys. I will use one when I get home to verify that everything works well and start offering the others.

Just wanted to say it pisses me off seeing others being victims to DRM... Those companies are worthless in morals.
I thought you knew about the code having to be deactivated before trying your game on a different computer, though, SkyeWelse. They do so to avoid people sharing codes at all costs (read: piracy). Whether the code is valid or not is checked on the people behind the game's side. Once validated, the code gets scratched, so to use it again, like moving an object from a place to another, rather than cloning the object, you gotta nullify it wherever you used it first. That's how it works for Project EGG, too, apparently, according to one of their support pages.

Hi Red Hairdo,
Yeah I guess I should have known better to think that this installation wouldn't work when moved to another computer, but I guess I just saw a file that was created that contained some Account information and thought that would be enough.
But it's not too big of an issue with me anymore since I'm no longer in the same boat I was now that Xalphenos was able to find a way to purchase keys pretty cheaply once you follow the instructions and waiting period. : )

I have successfully deactivated on one computer and reactivated on another. I will post some pics and step by step of the process later this afternoon/evening, hopefully. But basically you just run that .bat file I talked about earlier and it does the rest.

Awesome! Glad that you were able to figure out the process. That will surely help anyone that may need to install their license on a new computer going forward.
Still hoping that we can figure out a way to possibly get past the Securom issues to be able to edit the game more into English. If any new ideas or progress presents itself, by all means please keep us updated!

Well I never got around to doing this that day but better late than never I guess. It's a pretty straight forward process. The website says to make sure your firewall is off before doing this. I didn't. First you are going to look for this .bat file in the install directory. Also pictured here is the commands the .bat file actually has. After you run the .bat file you will see a command window pop up and then very soon after this window. Click the left button. When the game is successfully de activated you will see this window.

Sorry if this inst the right place to ask this, but im not finding anything about the game .exe (ys_s) not loading, im at windows 8 pro 64, the config is loading fine but when I try to save the changes I made its crashing. The game executable try to load, but its not opening, its not even showing on the task manager I tried to open both using applocale, but the results were the same from above statement. I don't know if I did something wrong along the way, it could be the case or the game inst supported on windows 8 pro x64?

Hi Bolabuga. No idea if Ys Seven PC is supported in Windows 8 64 bit. I would imagine it is, but I do not use Windows 8, so I'd be unable to test it. When you launch ys_s.exe, you should get to the JoyToPlay menu where it would showcase updates for the game, other games they have available and an option to start playing the game/input serial cdkey on the right-hand side of the screen.
If you are not seeing that screen, then something may not be supported. You could try running the exe file as an Administrator and see if that works. Not sure if Win8 still has that option or not.

The game does run fine in windows 8 pro x64. I'm running that OS on my main desktop.
You say its crashing. Is it giving you an error message or just disappearing? If the latter do as SkyeWelse suggested and run as administrator. If the former what is the error?

thks for both replies.
I will try to run as administrator, forgot to try this.
there's no error showing, when i try to run the executable, the mouse icons just seens trying to load the game, but nothing happens after that, and there's no signal of the executable on the task manager either. Anyway I will try as administrator as soon as I can and will report back here.....
thks again.
Edit: Oh running as administror worked, now i just have to wait the contact from taobao agent to get a key, thks guys.

Alright, glad you got unstuck and that the Run as Administrator option worked out for you. Windows can be so odd sometimes. If you do get a key, you'll definitely want to run the game using AppLocale for Chinese characters since a lot of what is displayed there in the game is more tan just the Chinese characters, for example some English used on the game's menus and such. I wrote a process for getting this installed on this page here, near the bottom of the page, and this too required installing the program as an administrator. -Thomas

I would really like to get my hands on a key. Been looking around at options, Paypal is my preferred payment method. TBA shows the Paypal logo on the footer and right on the product page, but there is no way to use it? Instead of adding funds I just went ahead and added the key to my cart, entered my address then clicked next assuming that the next page would have a Paypal login but it didn't, just went right to order completed even though I never entered any way to pay. Got confused, so I canceled my pending order. I can add funds using Western Union, which I have never used before. Isn't that as simple as going to a store that lets you send money with it?

They used to take paypal but they where having problems with it and they quit sometime shortly before I successfully bought a key from them. I'm assuming they are working on getting it back but they really should remove the logo for now.
Never used Western Union so I can't help you there.
