As the year of 2012 is coming to closure, I am just curious about which games people look forward to in 2013. I doubt we will see a Ys game in 2013 so that means no Falcom game for me to look forward to . Anyway, here are ones that I am interested in: 1. Soul Sacrifice - I really like the style of this game. The dark fantasy world that feature grotesque monsters and gruesome but awesome powers is a pure win on my book. I hope they pay as much attention to the single player mode as they do with the multiplayer. The gameplay looks fun although I hope there is not too much grinding involved. Sacrificing body parts, allies, and even other players should be very interesting mechanic and I look forward to what impact does sacrificing or saving monsters have on the gameplay and story. 2. Phantasy Star Online 2 - I heard a lot of good things about it. Even though I generally dislike online games since I hate making monthly payments and never-ending nature of MMORPG, it's free (at least in Japan for now) and it even has story missions. I saw some gameplay of it and I gotta say it looks promising. Since it is coming out here in the U.S. some time next year (probably fall 2013), I hope it will be free here as well.

I'm looking forward to Ys Celceta in 2013, as I can't imagine someone not bringing it over. Am looking forward to any possible Legend of Heroes game we hopefully get next year!

With my poor limited amount of time to play video games anymore, I gotta say I'm not paying much attention at things that are coming out:
1) Trails in the Sky SC on Steam! <_< What? I can dream can't I? 2) XBLA Virtual On: Operation Moonbase.. unless it comes out before 2013 3) Phantasy Star Online 2. The game has its ups and downs, having 100+ hours on the JP version already, and I complain about it being grind heavy.. but it is an action game, so the gameplay keeps me coming back. And when you finally solo a boss you've never beaten before, the gratification is wonderful. I just hope Sega of America doesn't fuck it up. Yes, that is actually what they've been told the most about PSO2: "Don't fuck it up" 4) Anti-Chamber. Seriously, it was supposed to be out already, but I guess no surprise at an indie game slipping in schedule. 5) La-Mulana remake on Steam. 6) Binding of Isaac console version.. that has a chance to be ported back to PC. But hey! Multiplayer! 7) Ys Celceta. 'cept for the part where I'll have to buy Sony's overpriced portable and their even more overpriced proprietary memory cards.
EDIT: And are we counting fan translations? 'Cause I have the physical games and am impatiently waiting for Zweii 2, Legend of Xanadu 1 & 2 EDIT 2: Remembered XBLA VO:OM and I'd also play Bravely Default if it does come out in the US

I'm hoping the remake of dragon quest 7 for 3DS comes to NA in '13, otherwise, I have no idea what's coming out in 2013.

There are no games that interest me in yet.
I'm looking forward to Black Ops 2 DLC, repairing my Nintendo Wii to replay Xenoblade Chronicles, taking a trip down memory lane to replay beloved classics such as, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, and Ys IV Dawn of Ys. I also want to finish some WiiWare titles I never got around to playing.

Really looking forward to Jungle Bros., assuming we get it out in 2013, but, depending on how things go, could be early 2014. Same goes for Dragon Arm, but, I'm not sure how long it'll take me to do the music. I already am working in the background on it, but haven't done anything proper.
Also looking forward to Aetherbyte's releases, Pyramid Plunder & Atlantean, & anything else that ends up released next year.
Also looking forward to the new Lock n' Chase clone coming out next month for Turbo!

Oh, so FE Awakening is actually getting localized? And it will have all the DLC and whatnot from the original Japanese version?
Guess I might need to get a 3DS sooner than I thought...

Monolith Soft is working on a game that looks to be very similar to Xenoblade Chronicles, since that was my favorite game of 2012, I'm looking forward to this title for the Wii U.

I doubt that Monolith Soft game will come out this year since they are working on another game for 3DS. I really hope that 3DS game is a new Baten Kaitos game. We probably won't hear anything concrete about either of them until at least fall of 2013. Anyway, it looks like 2013 is going to one of those boring years for me. Other than Soul Sacrifice and Ys: Memories of Celceta, I don't see myself buying new games. On the flip side, that should make 2014 something to look forward to since that's probably when we can expect those two RPGs by Monolith soft and even a new Ys game.

My 2013 games consist of sifting through my ridiculous library and possibly checking out a few more of the many games I have not played, let alone finished yet. >.>;
