Been keeping up with this project from Crystal Shard (the creators of A Tale of Two Kingdoms, if anyone's played that) for a while now, and it appears it was released just a few days ago. It's an adventure game, much in the vein of the Quest for Glory series, by all indications (I haven't tried it just yet, but will soon enough). The game is available free of charge (link below), so no reason not to give it a try! Here's a trailer: More info and download links can be found here (and even more detailed info can be found in the articles listed here).

Finished my first playthrough of this earlier today, and I must say, it's easily one of the better games I've played, especially for the point-and-click adventure genre. Lots of character interactions and dialogues (the voices are pretty well done - well, most of them, IMO), which definitely helps absorb you into the atmosphere. The puzzles are pretty innovative (though I've only done the warrior class so far, with some things missed), and I don't think there's a way to get dead-ended due to solving a puzzle poorly (although, I did once get dead-ended from saving too far away from a town when the heat indicator was nearly empty - thankfully, the game auto-saves each time you enter or exit an area, so it wasn't much trouble). Combat was definitely in the vein of the Quest for Glory series, and wasn't too hard on the default difficulty.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the point-and-click adventure game genre.
