So to those who have it what kinda character are you playing? Currently im a Nord with The Warrior Sign Major skills: Blade, Block, Heavy Armor, Restoration magik, Security, Atheltics and marksman. Hehe I recently got a really cool short sword call Chillbiter. 15 frost damage with weakness to frost for 20 seconds

I have a level 8 thief. I'm a member of the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood. Damn this game is awesome. I have a couple of nice enchanted rings, a necklace, excellent sneaking gear and a knife with a good amount of charge and decent status effects. If you play a thief I seriously suggest trying out the dark brotherhood, the gear they give you is perfect for this job. But if you Murder someone while in the thieves guild dont you get kicked out? At least thats what the Doyen that you first talk to to join the guild says. I have a Lv 4 thief right now. Somehow I must have murdered someone cuz the Db came to me in my sleep. I then Killed him and took his robe and hood whick give me like plus 11 to my sneak and some to my illusion

I downloaded it, I noticed it didn't work, I uninstalled it. But I bet it would just have happened the same as when I played Morrwind.. STUPID MAGES AND THEIR MAGIC SCROLLS! >.<

You killed Lachance and I doubt you'll be able to get in with that character now. Also, killing people when you're in the thieves guild only has to do with other guild members so you can be a murderous thug all you want as long as they aren't guild members. I believe that if you kill someone while on a mission you do have to pay the bloodprice to get back in. I only recently joined the thieves guild, so I really can't say. I have to say that I'm loving every bit of this game and I can't wait to join the Brotherhood as well. Peace Out Jest

One Thing About Stealing in TES IV that i dont like......Thiers nothing really good to steal! Like in Morwind you would see magic stuff in the shopkeepers houses or they had a Locked room with goodies. Now its just all mundane stuff Oh well still love the game. Using bows is alot of fun with stealth hehe.

Maybe its your graphic settings. I know when I first got it in the video options the resolution was set at 1024 x 768 and caused the game to lag bad when i got into a fight. turned it down to 800x600 and it works just fine and i have most of the other sliders turned all the way up. Another thing that will affect performance greatly is the Grass. Turn your grass view slider down a bit and see if that helps.

sadly i have, i have taken everything down to the lowest settings and it keeps crashing, i have a pretty good set up to, the only thing i would like to add to my PC is some extra memory i have only 512mb. Geforce 6800LE 512MB of Ram AMD Athlon 2600 XP+ (about 2.5ghz) i definetly have the minimum , in fact i should be able to do medium settings but I get absolutely nothing, i can play Halflife 2 and Doom 3 on the highest Settings, but this game keeps crashing on me. chris

You're gonna need more RAM. Apparently you'll need 2GB to run it properly.

Yeah it does say 1GB recommended, but in order to run the game nicely you'll need 2 GB.
