October 2022 Update: Reuploaded all the freely-downloadable YsOL files, since the original download links are now broken. A number of people over time seemed to want these game client files, so here we go. Please do keep a backup of your own from now on, as I may not be able to reupload them again in case they once more go missing.

^ Yes, Odysee can also host normal files, besides video content. Cool site (for now).
A big download button within that page will let you get the files.
It is all conveniently in a single 14.37 GB ZIP file this time around.
As a recap, this contains the following:
- Ys Online Europe Closed Beta 1 installer;
- Ys Online Europe Closed Beta 2 installer;
- Ys Online Europe Open Beta installer;
- Ys Online Europe up-to-date pre-installed Client files (should be the latest version. Didn't login on the very last day, but they likely still are the final version);
- Ys Online Japan Installer;
- Ys Online Japan up-to-date pre-installed Client files (should be the latest version. Didn't login on the very last day, but they likely still are the final version);
- A few videos from a Japanese player showing off some game content during the game's final days, which might be useful to compare against the Japan Client files that are in this package;
- Ys Online Taiwan Installer;
- Ys Online Taiwan up-to-date pre-installed Client files. I DID log in and stay logged in in the last day until the very last moment this game version was still online. I even have screenshots (not included) of the message you get when kicked out of the server, because it went offline (forever(!));
- Ys Online Korea VERY old, out-of-date installer.
The following files are MISSING from this, and are desired:
- Ys Online Korea up-to-date Client files;
- Ys Online China (not Taiwan) up-to-date Client files;
- Ys Online Server software (for ANY version / region), be it official or custom/homebrew/private server;
- Ys Online Server software source code (for ANY version / region) for custom/homebrew/private server;
- Ys Online Japan Premium Pack Disc Image (ISO or similar) of the physical bonus disc.

'Sup, everyone. What the title says.
As promised, I uploaded all the installers and the folder containing the latest version of Ys Online of each server I had access to back in the day.
I'd like to also emphasize those files were always, constantly available officially and for free for download from the moment each server started until each server closed down (meaning they only weren't CAPABLE of being downloaded, not that they weren't supposed to be downloaded). So there's absolutely no problem of any kind to pass those on. (For that reason, to avoid some debate, the YsOL JP DVD release's image is not included in these uploads, even though that offers absolutely nothing new.)
Of course, these are the game clients. If other people make, or rather, distribute their respective server programs, or use a leaked server program of a given client etc., then those would be a debatable situation up to some extent. But that's another subject.
Out of all servers, the ones I couldn't play, and thus couldn't get the latest files of, were the Chinese and the Korean versions. (I do have an extreeeeeemely early YsOL Korea installer, though.)
The existing Ys Online servers were, in order of server closure dates, from earliest to latest:
- Ys Online Europe (shortened to YsOL EU or YsOL E), which used the English, Spanish, French and German languages;
- Ys Online China (shortened to YsOL CN or YsOL C), which used the Chinese language;
- Ys Online Korea (shortened to YsOL KR or YsOL K), which used the Korean language;
- Ys Online Japan (shortened to YsOL JP or YsOL J), which used the Japanese language;
- Ys Online Taiwan (shortened to YsOL TW or YsOL T), which used the Chinese language.
There is a chance, although extremely unlikely, of me not having the ultimate latest version of YsOL EU and YsOL JP, because I did not run my client of those servers on their LAST day, or last hour, of life. However, both of those I had run, updated and played even way after their closures were announced. So what are the chances some update sneaked in that I might have missed? In those 2 cases, very close to 0, but just in case, I downloaded videos of players who played the JP server in its last day, week or something like so, with them showing many mostly unknown places in the game. So in case anyone gets YsOL JP to work, they'll have those videos to look at and investigate to see if what they show are indeed there in the latest version I have. Those videos were uploaded along with the clients.
So, without further ado, let's get to the juicy stuff.
What is uploaded?
Three .RAR files, with one for:
- YsOL China, Korea and Taiwan folders (4.46 GB);
- the YsOL Europe folder (6.75 GB);
- the YsOL Japan folder (3.81 GB);
The size differences mainly come from the fact I have more installers of some versions than others. For example, YsOL EU comes also with the Closed Beta 1, Closed Beta 2 and Open Beta installers, aside the latest version's files.
In terms of in-game content, it's not always the last server to close down that will have the most content. This may be the case for YsOL EU and CN, but YsOL JP, KR and TW had sometimes their own unique features, items or systems. Some are simply extras, while some are replacements for other features. For example, the Korean version had costume enchanting. The Taiwanese version lacked a place called "Cima Island" and IIRC very minor dungeons, but it also had some unique items of its own (homunculi spells?). YsOL JP also had contents of its own.
Download links:
- YsOL CN, KR & TW;
- YsOL EU;
- YsOL JP.
Enjoy, for what it's worth! If nothing else, it's preserving Ys History.
