I have the Steam version 1.1.1.0. Win 7 64bit, AMD Phenom x4 955, Geforce GTX 750.
So... the game crashes on startup just before the open videos. I have tried the following:
1- disable all movie playback
2- lightest setting
3- Searching through VLC player and winamp settings for codecs to shut off/fool with (I don't have any other video programs or codecs)
4- reinstalling Ys Origin
5- verifying game cache integrity
6- banging head against the wall
Sometimes it randomly loads, but I haven't noticed a pattern. So, here I am wondering if anyone else has any other ideas. Is there some master codec controller or something?
