While I wait for the behemoth that is
Phantasy Star Universe, I would like to try out some other great online games:
I'm looking for:
> anime/manga style designs
> preferably old-school pick-up-and-play gameplay
> gameplay with depth
> the ability to chat with other users (of course)
It can be of any genre
and it can also be a Japanese import
Any ideas?
Any masterpieces you would recommend?

Seen Rose Online
The character designs feel too unevenly cutesy for my taste
Ragnarok looks a lot better but that game was just too boring
I got FFXI but that one is boring too.
I'm level 15 so far I dunno if I'll log on again
(which maybe I will because of the upcoming expansion^^)
