There are a couple other decent-looking RPGs announced for the 360 as well, actually... Enchanted Arms looks cool, as does one called... 99 Years, was it? Or something like that. 99 Knights I think is what you're thinking of. Not really an RPG, more action and frankly, I don't get it. It looks boring (and dumb) to me. Here's a bunch of guys. Ok good, you killed em. Here's a bunch more. *yawn* "Wow! I've killed over 1000 bad guys" "Hey look, there's more..." As for Sony, I can't believe how sh-t awful their E3 was this year. With all of their momentum, they should have dominated. However, they wound up getting thoroughly trounced by Microsoft and Nintendo this year. I was stunned. You shouldn't be. Sony, as a company, has gotten very cocky. They think they're unsinkable. Look at the SOE division of them, for example. Everquest put them on the map, they got all big and bad and thought they would be safe with SWG. Now look at them, everything's a joke because the MMO world is being dominated by Blizzard, who has the same god complex that Sony did, IMO and they will fall just like them. So did the captain of the Titanic. i bought a ps2 because of DDR and Ys 1 & 2 on ps2 that turned out to be japanese only :\ lol there's another series I don't "get" along with Guitar Hero. But hey, different strokes

It's more a party game... better when drunk

I doubt Sony would ban the resale of games. That's beyond ridiculous! Hell, people resell PC games all the time, it's their property, since they paid for it. Wow, if Sony did that, that'd be a nail in the coffin. Frankly, the PS3 isn't looking too happy right now, with, or without, great games. It's gonna take alot for it to recover from such a high price. If they could match the 360 in price, (& I believe Sony will already be losing around $200 per system), then they'll be fine, & probably dominate the next generation.
I gotta say, all these years, I've been able to predict, so to speak, which systems are going to die, & which ones will thrive. And I've never been wrong. But, this next generation........is a tough call for me. Partially cuz I couldn't care less about online gaming, so it's something that's outside of my realm. But, also the prices on these new systems........I just can't afford that stuff. Ever since the 32bit days, systems have been pushing the prices. So, I'll have some waiting to do, like when I picked up my Saturn for 30 bucks & my 3do for 90(& then later got one for the same price, with a crapload of games).

The Xbox 360 cost $500 at launch (and it sold out immediately -- people were buying it for over a thousand dollars on Ebay), and Sony is much bigger than Microsoft -- the PS3 cannot fail! Not a chance in the world!

Nothing is bigger than Microsoft.
Resistance is futile.
You will be assimilated.

Sony is bigger than Microsoft in the video game market. Much, much bigger. Resistance is futile.

I dunno... that might start to get kinda unattractive really quickly. Especially if you do the maniac-mode songs... a bit too much "movement", if you know what I mean. -Tom I am not going there... Why people will buy ps3 at the high price... because it's the "latest thing that is a must have." it will likely end up on A LOT of people's christmas list...

I don't think that the whole langages/NTSC thing is the problem for the PS3 launch delay, SONY had it's fine share of development problems and until recently didn't have a retail version of the PS3. and to build more than 500,000 units (like 200,000 units more) at launch and than keeping them comming, is probebly impossible for the sony factories who are still mostly spitting out western PSPs to keep up to that demand.
because the at launch numbers don't indicate a whole lot, the worst is getting double that number of units there one or two weeks later.

Actually I don't think the PSP is a problem. They've already shipped out nine million unsold units. Looks like they'll remain unsold for a pretty long time.

From some inside sources, who've seen it with their own eyes, the PSP is doing terrible in both US & Japan. Not sure about Europe. As for the PS3, apparently PS2 games will have a region lockout, why, I have no friggin' clue! All I can say is, Sony, suck a duck. I'll assume that PS1 import games are also locked out
