My only assumption, is that eventually we would see Ys 3 for both SNES & Turbo, & 1 & 2 for Turbo. Possibly 4, depends on if Hudson wants to translate it. It could probably be considered a high priority game, like Dracula X, which they want to deffinitly do(though, that depends more on what Konami's final answer is). I don't know, if anyone on the SNES side of things, would care to translate 4 & 5. That'd be cool, although, I don't know if I could bare to play thru MOTS again

I honestly believe Nintendo will make is so we can ONLY download chip based games and not CD quality games, but I am only assuming. Lets hope they bring CD based games also. There are some GREAT titles from the Turbo Duo collection like Dracula X, Winds of Thunder, Gate of Thunder, and of course Ys.

Well, over at the Hudson boards, it has sounded like they really want to bring over Dracula X for us, so, that makes me assume, that there will be a way to download cd games. Originally, I thought that would be impossable, but, I suppose they could figure some way to shrink it. They really aren't saying too much right now, other then possibilities.

Commodore 64 will be added to Wii's Virtual Console, the first batch of Commodore 64 titles for Wii will be Impossible Mission 1 & 2, Winter Games, Summer Games 1 & 2, Pitstop and Jumpman Junior.
Got that from Magic Box, that REALLY stokes me, more systems, more computers! Bring on MSX & FM Towns Marty!!!

I got a question: What's the best place on the net to get the latest info on the Wii? Currently I've bookmarked The Wiire
Dang I just had a thought (warning: past midnight/bedtime melodrama below)
I'm beginning to realize the reason I'm losing my gaming touch is because I've been bombarded by boring games (e.g. I used # million polygons + I'm so realistic!!) for like about 3-4 years now.
Hopefully the Wii takes me back to the days of pure gaming^^
Feel the wrath of the nunchuk!!

I believe there won't be many good games released on the Wii. I also believe the hysteria will be over within a year. Then it will be a dead dull system just like the Gamecube.
Why oh why would the games be classic? Because the hardware is weak? I beg to differ - the Wii games will probably be very non-hardcore gamer friendly. As in Singstar, DDR, etc. People who do not normally play video games will have fun with this system. People who DO like video games won't.
And then there's virtual console.. As a video game collector of sorts, I won't touch this feature - I only (and I mean only) play games on their original hardware. I don't care if Chrono Trigger costs 100 dollars for SNES and 10 dollars for the Wii - I would much rather buy the SNES game (not that I will, but this is just an example).
I also tend to boycott any attempt to "milk" old crap. Please stop re-releasing games and/or releasing identical games again and again (Castlevania, anyone?). When companies do these kinds of things, I'm always reconsidering my opinion on piracy. Maybe piracy is a good thing, after all? (As a type of punishment for the video game companies, that is.)
No, the Wii is definitely not for me. In fact, this whole generation isn't for me. I'd rather die than get an Xbox 360, the PS3 seems to be way too advanced for my tastes (which makes the chances of "ugly" games like Ys very slim) and the Wii ... yeah. I'm not gonna buy another Nintendo console. Ever. Why? The N64 was a huge disappointment (severe lack of good games), the Gamecube was an even bigger disappointment (lacked good games altogether) and the Nintendo DS.... please. This is the most useless system ever. I really dislike the GBA too (in fact, just looking at GBA games makes me sick).
PS2 is the only good console since the Sega Saturn, in my opinion. I will keep using it forever just like the Saturn.

Thing is, I got kinda exhausted with gaming evolution being mostly about looking and playing realistic. Like "we need more polygons" and "a button for every action (and that's like dozens of em)"..... sheesh gimme a break.
I want something new and at the same time pure gaming fun that I can experience for the reduced time I've devoted to gaming.
I've become one of those gamers that are hard to satisfy. The type who's looking for a game with the quality of the likes of Zelda, Ys, FF7, Lunar, Virtua Fighter, Treasure shooters, and Metal Gear Solid.
So Wii is for me^^

I love hardcore, mature orientated japanese games and the PS2 satisfies that need. I'm bettin my chips the PS3 will do the same. The Wii will probably have a very small handful of mature orientated games. I believe a Resident Evil title has been announced for it. The problem is the PS3 will have much more.

I'll also purchase the PS3 because of Metal Gear Solid 4 and Virtua Fighter 5. But until one of those games are released, I'm not gonna purchase the console yet and focus on the Wii.
And yes there's also FFXIII - although the franchise seems to have lost it's magic after FFVII (well 9 is okay but what the heck) I'll check if they'll make up for their mistakes with this installment^^
Again, until something hot on the PS3 comes up, it's gonna be all Wii for me.
And yes screw Xbox360

The Nintendo 64 Seldane, were awe-cool. I truley enjoyed Lylat Wars and Super Mario 64, not to mention Super Smash Brothers which I still love.
The Wii will be just the same. And the ability to get the old games? A nice touch, Duck Hunt anyone? - Without accidently bashing your feet into the group 'causing the disk to unmount and having to start over again.
'Nuff said in this thread by me.

Yeah the N64 was a great system, but it lacked good games. These were some real gems released for it, but not enough.
