Is it just me, or do there seem to be some problems with companies not making enough games to meet demand. I mean, I went out yesterday thinking that I'd pick me up some Castlevania goodness and a DS, but it was absolutely nowhere to be found.
This seems to be the case for nearly every game that's popular and talked about. Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright are nearly unfindable as well (actually Phoenix Wright can really only be gotten through an ungodly amount on ebay). I guess I can somewhat understand about these two though, they aren't exactly "normal" games, but Castlevania.
These games are made by big name companies Capcom, Konami, Atlus...I just don't understand why they're so difficult to find after only about eight months on the market. Hell, these should all have a greatest hits version by now.
I ended up picking up Castlevania on ebay, and I think I can find Trauma Center without too much problem. I also hear that Capcom is reissuing Phoenix Wright towards the end of may, so I may wait to buy that (though that info comes from NCSX and I'm not too sure as to the validity of it, but they did reissue it a couple months back).
I finally decide to pick up the DS and I can't find any of the games that I want to play on it, with the exception of New Super Mario Bros. I guess that I just wanted to rant a bit.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow went out of print here in Europe pretty recently. It is getting harder and harder to get ahold of.
Believe me, it will be very expensive in a few years -- just like Aria of Sorrow is.

Huh. I've never had a problem finding DS stuff between retailers and used game stores. I've seen Phoenix Wright here and again, too.
Where do you live at? Perhaps this is simply a benefit of living in (Ne)Ohio.

I can't seem to find it anywhere, at all. On NCSX's site they say that Capcom will have more copies to ship come the end of May. I'm hoping they do as I do not relish the Idea of shelling out $50+ dollars for a used copy of the game.

Well, I paid 74 euros (~89 USD) for a sealed copy. Think about that. Yeah, I THINK that's crazy. I don't really know how good this game really is, but I wouldn't spend that amount of money on it. I think that I'll just wait and take my chances. If and when the sequel comes out, they'll likely eventually sell a pack that has both games in it. Companies seem to be like doind that more and more.
