I stopped watching eMTyV when 120 minutes and headbangers ball went under. Even those shows were underground and could only be seen very late at night on the weekends. MTV was very cool in the 80's cause all this music video nonsense was fresh and new. Now its just not exciting anymore cause most videos are been there done that recycled.

I've never had MTV. I have no idea what they're airing.

MTV was doomed from the start, as it began as mainstream music more or less started to die. True, since the only good shows on that was Jackass & Beavis & Butthead.

Beavis and Butthead? Good? DOES NOT COMPUTE. OUT OF CHEESE ERROR!
I can't say anything about Jackass, since I never saw it. But I did see the Kenny Roger's Jackass sketch on Mad TV, and I suspect it amused me more than the original ever would.

I have watched King of the Hill a few times, but I just didn't like it enough to keep watching.

King of the Hill is a good show
One of the very rare western shows that I consider "anime quality" besides the Simpsons.

Define "anime quality", personally, I think anime is usually of very very low quality. Bad animation, bad sound, etc.

Gosh, I thought Futurama was great. It had a fresh storyline since it's in the 31st century and literally Matt Goen's way of mocking the 21st century. But people just didn't appreciate the show. I thought the humour was great. At least, it was differen't. Simpsons' humour were starting to get repetitive and lately, it has been "that was suppose to be funny?"

Man. King of the Hill.
Summarized: OMG TEH LIEBERALS R DOIN SUMTHING!!!
Also: Anime quality is a pretty derogatory term when you think about it, given that for every good anime, there are at least a dozen and one crappy ones. Unless you're a huge weeaboo or something.
I'd just say something is quality, myself.
As for Futurama. I dunno. It started off really great, then it just sorta lost something for me.

Maybe it was just me getting disenchanted with TV as a whole. I dunno. It just seemed more forced and less funny as it went on. I'm not sure if I even saw season four.

It will be very interesting to see what the new episodes of Futurama on Comedy Central will be like.

I've never liked Futurama. I'm shocked they're actually going to make a couple of new episodes.

Well, don't look now! I couldn't get into the show either. I always watched Family Guy instead.

I used to like Family Guy, too. A lot. But I also grew disenchanted with it. Not too sure why... Just, I dunno, something about it got irksome.

Futurama had this odd humour - either you get it or your dont.
I like Leela and Nibbles. lol

Well, the "big show" is tonight. It will be interesting to see if Jeremy Soule is in attendance, or if he wins for Oblivion.

Jeremy Soule won the award for Oblivion. I don't know if he attended, but there is not any in depth promotion for the video game score category on MTV's site, which was expected.

I'll call them to make sure they make a weekly video game music show... with lots of rappers in it (remixing video game music).
