I have been trying to boot mine up, as I haven't done it in quite some time, & it won't turn on. I've tried everything, & I can't seem to find the documentation anywhere, despite the fact that I saw it, like a week or so ago. Any help? It's charged up, has Xanadu Next in it, & I've been holding various buttons down to power it on.

Is the battery even charged up? If not - charge it. Something should happen when you connect the charger to it. What happens when you try to turn it on? Absolutely nothing at all?

...People honestly spent money on these things? For seriously? I cannot wrap my head around this. People went out and willingly paid real money, actual currencies, to get an N-Gage? Without coersion?

But, you weren't being forced, right? Like, you didn't have a high pressure salesman breathing down your neck? There wasn't some madman who was going to blow up your house if you didn't, or some cracker infiltrating your computer and made that an ultimatum?
You did this freely? I mean, there's no shame to admitting coersion, here.

Why do people buy Microsoft products? That's an even bigger shock to me.

Why do people buy Microsoft products? That's an even bigger shock to me. Exactly. And yes, I "wanted" one, what is there to have shame about? Bought one awhile back for a few of the games. Got it off of ebay. And I might add, I do consider the system a joke, but that doesn't mean I have no reason to have one. Hell, I don't even have an Xbox. That's an even bigger joke IMO. But, if I want one for a certain game, then fine.

great someone is comparing a system that's on the market for around 9 months with two systems who are expected to be release in Q4 of 2006. If you look at the number of games out now for XBOX360 (around 20) than I think they did a lousy job with software support. the Wii is launching with 7 or 8 titles and is expected to have 15 titles by the end of the year. which pwns! microsoft with the software support. I got an xbox (old one) just recently as an emulator and divx station. I got two games for it, the best ones: Ninja Gaiden and Steel Batallion

360 sold 100000 units since launch in Japan (and they made a press release of it a couple of weeks ago, for celebrating), Nintendo DS lite sold 100000 units in it's first week. so they already failed in Japan (again!).
and that is also the reason the xbox(360) fail for me, not enough fantasy RPGs in the style of FF, LOH, Star Ocean, etc.

microsoft should quit in Japan. the XBOX didn't even sell half a million units in its 3 year life span...

He he, not only that - Microsoft lost four BILLION dollars due to the Xbox. They made no profits whatsoever! Big flop!
