Wyrdy's just upset that Japan isn't trying to justify getting a PSP nearly as hard as he is. =D
Anyways, MP38 has given one of the more accurate estimates on good stuff for any system, really. That being said, Cubey gave me Melee, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Wind Waker, and Eternal Darkness. This made it worthwhile in my eyes.

Chibi-Robo came after I went from being impoverished to being a pauper. =( But if you got some sort of hook-up, man.
And I'll take that controller if you're not using it. =D

Interesting list, to say the least.
Though, I don't see the GameCube as a failure... it just didn't reach Nintendos usual heights. And, my guess is that that has mostly to do with the GameCube being the 'cute' console for children... whereas third party companies didn't develop 'adult' (I just hate that damn abbreviation, what makes colourful games less 'adult' than, say, the Resident Evil series? Does 'adults' by law have to like dark and scary games filled to the brim with blood and gore?) games for it. That reduced sales and thus the support from third parties just didn't reach the usual standards. Though, there are quite some few titles I find wonderful for the GameCube...
Legend of Zelda - Windwaker Legend of Zelda Collection Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 - Echoes Metal Gear Solid - Twin Snakes F-Zero GX Super Smash Bros Melée Tales of Phantasia Skies of Arcadia (although the Dreamcast version has better music and visuals, according to me) Viewtiful Joe Viewtiful Joe 2 Mega Man Collection Mega Man Network Transmission Sonic Mega Collection Sonic Gems Collection Bomberman Generation Ikaruga (although the Dreamcast version is better, according to me, mostly because it runs smoother) Chaos Field Shikigami No Shiro II (haven't tried this version, though the Dreamcast version is one of the best shooters around, according to me) Spyro - A Hero's Tail Mario Kart Double Dash Mario Smash Football Rayman 3 Paper Mario 2 Beyond Good & Evil Fire Emblem ...and many more...
Problem is, just like already having been said in the thread... I have yet only played through one game. Metroid Prime. I don't know why that is... because the games doesn't feel like they are lacking something in particular... but I rather play through games on my Dreamcast, or even older consoles. I guess I am getting old and living the dream that things were better before.
Oh. Well.
Go DS!

The problem with the Gamecube is that it doesn't really have that many original titles. Most of the games you listed are available on the PS2/Dreamcast.

I think Zelda The Wind Waker is a pretty boring game, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen, if not THE most beautiful one!

I like the style used in Twilight Princess as well, but I prefer the one in Wind Waker. Nothing beats a good looking cel shaded game, but unfortunately there are only two of those: Zelda The Wind Waker and Radiata Stories.
I will also buy the GC version of course, I have a GC, I want to play with a regular controller and the Wii is just way too expensive.

I think The Wind Waker is pretty much the only game worth playing on the Gamecube. In fact, I bought my Gamecube SOLELY so that I could play The Wind Waker, and boy was I disappointed.

I finally picked up Wind Waker for 10 bucks. I've always hated the art style, but the game itself I recognized as being graphically beautiful. I just, well, it's the character designs. And, Sel, you said the Wii is too expensive?? Did I miss an announcement of the price or something?? Also, I did get Chaos Field recently. It's.......pretty damn boring. I hate bullet hell games, but I want to support old school shooters. Why do most of the few shooters that come out, have to be bullet hell games??

DQ8 is Fugly! IMO, Wind waker is one of the best cell shaded games, or manybe some anime(bishojo) related games in Japan that didn't come to the western world. and the Wii expencive? I thought it's gonna be 250 Euro's or $200 (so US import is probebly cheaper and it's probebly region free).

I think that's very expensive! I paid €100 for my PS2 and I found THAT expensive! I'll possibly buy a Wii when I can get it for €60-80! Also, I'm not interested in the Wii, I won't pay €250 for something I don't want. I'd rather buy a PS3 for €600.
