Ha ha ha, PS3 emulator. Good luck. You can't even play PS2 games properly on the best computer hardware available. Heck, even the PS1 isn't emulated properly yet. Also don't forget that the PS3 itself is more powerful than most home computers. Emulating CELL on a single/dual core CPU. Wow, that would require some insane hardware. Insane! Hmm, a semi-working PS3 emulator might be available around 2020 - when the PS3 costs $20 used. I've never had any problems with PS1/PS2 hardware.

Actually Seldane, they are. There are just configurations error, was checking it up yesterday And even as we speak, I am currently downloading Kingdom Hearts since it is suppose to be playable according to the Emulator team ^^ And most PS1 games if not all are working - You just need other Plugins to make then functioning better

[quote author=zenith board=gaming thread=1162848864 post=1162941507 Thy art true my horny friend ( horns, not the other )[/quote] lol, I know Sideshow: Some of the Saturn emulators out there are getting very good indeed. I know SSF runs a lot of games near-perfectly, although some have, in some cases, severe problems. According to Seldane, Cassini is doing well as well. And the only reason they're not coming along more quickly is because there're fewer people ready to work on Saturn emulation, and it's a LOT harder to program than PSX emulation. And speaking of that, PSX emulation is pretty good at the moment. Set it up properly and most run games just fine, AFAIK. But yeh, PS3 emulation is years away - as, probably, is decent PS2 emulation, amongst others >_>

PS3 isn't worth it. And MGS4? A joke game. Hate it already. Sad but true, the game will be crap - Yet fun to play most likely. But crap. If the game is fun to play, how exactly is it crap?

Because of the games story. A game can be fun to play, but when they put down such time to write an story to it which we all know the MGS games are famous for having 1 hour of pure talk.. I'm sure it'll be fun, but I'm sure it'll be crap at the same time. Hm.. I wonder how his arm is doing..

Super lenghty cutscenes are awesome! That's why I love PS2 RPGs like Star Ocean and Final Fantasy! The cutscenes never end!

Xenosaga is great for lengthy cutscenes, I still need to finish the first one.

Obviously it's science fiction, but all the conspiracy stuff, there's a lot of that stuff in the real world.

MGS is not really a game, it's more of an interactive movie. the genre is pritty popular overall in Japan and more of these games come out there, but don't make it to the rest of the world. I like the stories of MGS and I love the games. they should make a CGI anime of the game

Yeah, I was just gonna say, Xenosaga Episode I has all other RPGs beat for lengthy cutscenes, I think (except maybe Xenogears!). There's one cutscene toward the beginning of that game that's 45 minutes long, with two savegame breaks in between! -Tom Ha! That's nothing! Ever played Radiata Stories? Well, the first six hours is just basically a long series of cutscenes. All voiced!

I used to do that too. Then Liquid came back in the lifeforce of an arm... Not to mention the things to come...
