Golvellius - Sega Master System Replaying it for the fourth time maybe. Fourth time in many, many years, that is. I remember almost everything, but it is still great fun and very captivating. There's something about these old games that I can never get enough of. Lost: Via Domus - PC I love Lost. It's my favorite tv-show EVER! Every friday is absolute joy, getting to see a new episode rules. So of course I was interested in the video game, even though it looked like garbage on the screenshots. I didn't expect much, but I am so interested in the Lost story so that I had to give it a try. I really, really want to play through this game, but it sucks sooooo much. It's absolutely awful in every way. The graphics suck, the gameplay sucks, the controls are so bad it is almost painful to play it. The voice acting sucks. And it features the only two things I dislike about the Lost show - the music and the weird acting. Man that music is terrible, and this game has it. It also has that weird and bad acting that Lost features. I cannot quite explain it, but they really caught that feeling in this game as well, even though it isn't real people in it. Damn.

With the exception of Ys Origin as I finished another playthorugh of it, I dropped everything else I was playing! XD
Instead, I am now having oodles of fun in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Final Fantasy IV DS.
Damn Crisis Core for coming out soon though. >:/

Finished Dawn of Mana, so to continue the kick, I thought I'd give Sword of Mana a long overdue honest try. ....Decided that the system in that game is massively retarded after about two hours and gave up.
So NOW I'm replaying Legend of Mana after a seven or eight year absence. ^.^ Still have my FFVIII save on the card, too, so I can get my Chocobo again! Yay!

Gonna start up Wild Arms 4, since I believe, you can transfer data from Alter Code F to it, & I remember liking the camera in the game, compared to the older 3D Wild Arms.
I liked Sword of Mana, it wasn't the best, but, in a way, it's the closest to Secret of Mana that we've had in a long time. I'd like to try again to play thru Seiken Densetsu 3. I was a ways into the game several years ago, but then lost my save file, & never went back.

I agree. Of course, I've never finished a Mana game outside of Final Fantasy Adventure, Sword of Mana (both with very beautiful soundtracks) and Legend of Mana. Eventually I hope to finish the SNES Mana games... after I finish getting everything in Brawl.

Started playing Dawn of Mana. I'm terrible at it as I am with pretty much any action RPG but there you go- at least it's pretty and the voice acting isn't horrible.

Patience, perseverance, and cursing a blue streak usually does wonders for those games. But you already know that, Cy.

I'm playing FF IX. Hadn't played it much before, and it's a great game. The last of the old school FF's.

I have added Growlanser 2, from Growlanser Collection, to Da List.
It and Shiren the Wanderer are my main things now, with periodic dabbling to Treasure of the Rudras.

Anyway, I'm adding Crisis Core (US version) to the list of games I'm playing now! :D I would also tack on Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles if I didn't suck sooooooo sooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooo horribly at it. Seriously, I think in terms of skill, I probably rival 5-year-olds that can't even play video games properly in the first place. Stupid Ritcher that can only double-jump backwards and STOMP everywhere. Ever hear of running!?!?!?

Growlanser 2 has the best battle music I've ever heard! I've seriously listened to it thousands of times. No one will arrange it differently either, because it's too perfect. I am back to playing Etrian Odyssey after finishing Legend of Xanadu II again. I also plan on replaying the first Legend of Xanadu too.

But d00de, you were absent LONG BEFORE THAT. >:O EXPLAIN THAT. Well, not really. My last few posts before getting SSBB were about just 4 days earlier, which was when I posted to explain that I was on an "internet fast". I wanted to make some more free time to finish up some games and probably watch some Cricket with my mom (which is quite time consuming). Also, GMF, you really should check out Brawl's soundtrack. They reused a lot of old tracks (taken directly from old games without any changes) and a few really have to place in a fighting game's soundtrack, but with so many pieces from so many games it's seriously Nintendo music nirvana. I'm happy they used a lot of stuff from more obscure/JP titles... like Shin Onigashima (man I love that track). I've even heard some very Ys-like tracks... I'm gonna check to see if those are the Yuzo Koshiro tracks like I'm thinking they are. I think one of the new Zelda arrangements is his as well. Also, Yoko Shimomura got to arrange Tetris music, which resulted in some awesomeness. I'm probably one of the few that still hates the new main/intro theme though.

Good grief, I don't know how you find the time to play these games! I'm just barely into Wild Arms 4, after starting it a few weeks ago And I have been on again/off again, working on Mega Man ZX Advent. I did just get World Heroes Anthology & Heavenly Guardian(think, Pocky & Rocky ) so I'll be playing those for a little while as well.

Its a much better game that the remake (sword of mana), as long as you can get past the fact the game has aged quite a bit.

Yeah, Mystic Quest (or FFA which is a terrible and misleading title) is far better than Sword of Mana.

I'm currently watching FFVII Crisis Core being played. It looks like fun and I might soon snag the PSP and play it all for myself! Oh, but I shouldn't expose my plans to take the PSP here... I am being watched.

Scratch out Super Smash Bros. Brawl, folks! (And maybe even Crisis Core.) It's all about WARRIORS OROCHI PC.
The resolution is so beautiful. Too bad it's only up to 1024x768 but at least that lets me play it in windowed mode. :D
I also wish my processor was beefier because framerate drops when blobs of enemies are on the screen. It forces me to quickly kill them all just so the game can run all smooth again. o.o!
