Me too. I don't usually post in this thread because I start playing a new game almost every day. Actually, I often start on two or three new games every day. And I never keep playing the previous games.

I just received Star Ocean for the PSP and will be receiving Princess Crown shortly, and I'm having a blast with SO so far. However, I'm having trouble choosing the right dialog options after Parj Temple to keep Joshua and Fear in my party.
All in all, it reminds me of the good and bad things about SO1 and SO2. The outdoor areas are somewhat poorly rendered, but indoor areas and towns look fantastic. I like that Ratix has a 3 hit combo now, and that your party members will join you in attacking a single enemy rather than stand back. However, I'm having trouble with my team's tactics. I can't understand the menu enough to change them, and my party usually blows all their MP on trash. More to come

And I never keep playing the previous games. Sel, you need to make yourself some kind of schedule, so that I can get thru some games. Like say, play such & such on wednesday's, & such & such on thursday's, etc.

Haven't played Star Ocean, but I can vouch for Princess Crown. The game's an absolute blast to play, and it's a real shame it was never released stateside. -Tom Odin Sphere is also very good. I am actually surprised it came here. Its odd in the way that Sony was so anti rpg and 2d ten years ago, and now the psp and the ps2 have become the "western" haven for those kind of games.

I started playing Golden Axe Warrior (Sega Master System) last night. I think I will try to finish it, it has been a long time since. I love that game. Just like Neutopia, this is a serious Zelda 1 rip off... they stole everything and didn't have many ideas of their own at all, and yet it is so much better than both Zelda 1 and Neutopia! The soundtrack is really awesome, and the level design is insane!! The overworld is a serious masterpiece!

Started Blue Dragon today, and I like it so far. I did some research and holy crap is this game hated. Even the gamefaqs user reviews are very harsh (even though most of them are 7 out of 10).
btw....200th post....

I am really enjoying it, plus I was a huge Dragon Ball fan, I absolutely love the dragon quest series, and you are right about the music. I may even order this soundtrack.

There are people who DON'T like the Blue Dragon soundtrack?! I've heard pretty much nothing but pure laudation for it, everywhere I look. Most people seem to be saying (rightly so) that it's Uematsu returning to form, and delivering a soundtrack that can stand in with even his best Final Fantasy works. -Tom The music is very good. Even most reviewers agree, and with this game its rare, because everyone seems to be on the fence. I am having a blast with it, I wish I didn't leave it on my shelf so long. While were talking about a mistwalker game; is Lost Odyssey any good?

Currently started on two games: the Sword of Etheria and ZOE: the 2nd Runner. Playing them both since I heard both of them don't take too long. I heard lots of things about ZOE: the 2nd Runner but I don't know that much about the Sword of Etheria other than the walkthrough that nunuu put on gamefaqs. Hopefully, I will be able to fininsh them by this weekend. BTW, did anyone else play these games before?

I used to have Sword of Etheria for a while, but I never tested it. As for me, I am currently (re) playing the following: Lagoon (SNES) - Hard and frustrating, but always oddly entertaining. I have finished this game many times in my lifetime, because I regularly get this craving for Lagoon. The atmosphere is so awesome in it. Pokemon Red (GB) - I haven't actually played this before, but I have played both Pokemon Blue and Yellow before. But I never finished either of them. I really love the (real) Pokemon games. They are some of the rare random encounter + turn based RPGs that I like. I don't like the DS one though. It is way too slow, and the low frame rate is unacceptable. Why did they make it semi-3d? It looks terrible. STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl (PC) - I didn't get far the last time I played it, because I found it to be too hard. I am now playing it on easy and it is a lot more fun. It is a bit of an eye sore though, the game was never pretty, and now - after having played Crysis and other new games - it looks even worse.

I've moved to another game! XD Now I'm all crazy for Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7tsu no Shima no Daibouken! That's some like The Grand Adventure of the 7 Islands? Not sure what the "meh cha" is about though. Anyway, I find that the song selection isn't as fun or good as the first DS game but adventure mode is HIGHLY addictive. I'm already at the last island but haven't started it yet since I wanted to get a video of Don entering it! XD!! Don da don~!? Got some stupid vid caps of early gameplay! ca.youtube.com/watch?v=7JI7g1eOYqM&fmt=18ca.youtube.com/watch?v=-vma6OJPAhU&fmt=18

Started Riviera: The promised land a few days ago. Its a Sting RPG for the gba and its very unique. I would go as far to say its a JRPG rendition of a very simple point and click adventure mixed in with a traditional element. I shouldn't categorize the game though, only because its very "different". Very much worth playing, if you can find it still. As usual HG 101 has a spanking good article on the game: hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/sting/sting4.htm
