Oooh, thanks a lot! Edit: I just saw the video! It looks really really great. Hopefully, it will be as fun as YsVI was.... Or even more fun!

There was an official announcement from Falcom about OATH IN FELGHANA: The plot of OATH IN FELGHANA is basically same as Ys III. So it might be better to name it Ys III Eternal. However, Falcom worried that game players might be confused to see Ys III after Ys VI is released. Also the system succeed the Ys VI's. So Falcom decided to drop series number.

I can't believe it! I started the Ys series with Ys 3 for the SNES and now it is being redone in a new way by Falcom. I can't wait to play it and maybe the ending will be totally different......... I think Falcom is spoiling all of us after having no new Ys games for so long!

I only have one question, why? Why reamake Ys3 and not YS4/5 with the YS6 engine. Why not contunew the series whit Ys7, new story and new stuf? SO does this mean the Ys sereas is over, no more new adventures?

Is it a ridiculous assumption? If falcom is making a remake of a game already being remade then they probobly ran out of ideas and are banking on remakes. Whats next a full 3D reamake of the hole Ys series?

Holy Christmas! That looks friggin' awesome! Wow, two Ys 3 remakes in one year... Falcom must want to improve that game's reputation an awful lot. Can't wait to see what kind of preorder bonuses they offer with it. Man... I'm gonna go so broke buying Ys stuff this year AND I've got a wedding to pay for.

Whats next a full 3D reamake of the hole Ys series? You act as if they didn't remake Ys 1&2 within the eight years between Ys V and Ys VI....twice, in the case of Ys 1, if you count the retooling for the Complete Edition. Yes, it was indeed eight years between Ys V and Ys VI, and Falcom still showed that they were quite willing to continue the series even after all that time. No, I wouldn't worry about the series being ended, even if it might take another eight years to get to the next installment (which I HIGHLY doubt, given how strong the series is going right now).

See? They have released a new Ys almost every year since 1987. You don't need to worry about losing Ys.

Haha, elite.
I wonder if they're ever gonna make a game about his journey to the north pole or whatever.

If you think this remake of Ys 3 is gonna be good, can you imagine if they did the same thing to Ys 1 and 2 ?! That would be the PERFECT game......Imagine fighting Dark Fact in 3D .....I am drooling just thinking about it.....My absolute favorite game in 3D Ys 6 style! Please Falcom, if you can understand what I am saying, please listen to me on this one.

The real question is... are they going to step up to the bar and put it out in english? And if not, are they gonna let 3rd parties translate it?
It's understandable that they shot the Napishtim translation down, but that's because there was a pending U.S. release already.
You know that the storyline is going to be alot more refined, and I'd hate to miss out on it due to lack of english translation. :/

If that exist it would mean that also Super Metroid EXPERT exists, and it doesn't exept in ROM format on the net I think Ys I & II would be great in 3d, but Dark Fact ( Dalk | Dark Factor | Robed guy etc whatever YOU who read this like to call him ) would be a complete pain in the ass because then it would mean that he could soar above you while continiously firing his "fire balls" with 95% accurcy not to mention the spalsh damage etc. You get the picture This Ys looks rather intressting, played the SNes rom version but then, Seldane said "That version SUCKS! You must get Genesis version because it rules scums!" and alas, I haven't played Ys III due to lack of no intresst
