THis is a super duper collection of Ys III music! Quite Impressive. Falcom sure knows how to package a collectors item.

Anyone gotten a confirmation email yet? I'm a little nervous, since it's just your info via email, rather than a secure server!

I never ended up ordering Ys 6 originally, even though I've always been an Ys nut. I'm not taking any chances on a PS2 version this time around, though I will get it, if it comes.

So tempted to order this box set. One thing concerns me, though - the album for Ys VI was a 2-disc set. Although there's 8 CDs in this boxed set, 7 of them are re-releases (which is fine, I never managed to get them before anyway), but... ...only 1 CD for the new game music? Or is this just a limited set of music from the game, and the "real" album for the game will be 2 CDs as well...? Why the name "Pre-Arrange" instead of "Original Soundtrack/OSV"? It sounds almost as though it isn't the music from the game exactly, but more "raw" tracks before finished? Or am I being too literal? I wish I knew Japanese.

I won't be able to pre order it till the start of June. Is it too late for me to get all the extras? The 7 extra CD's look very very very nice. If all of that is 8988 yen, then it's a steal!
This month I've ordered the MGS3 Premium edition set, so I won't be able to order anything till the start of June.

I'll assume generally all *preorders* will include the cd's, but, it's limited, so, less likely to get it I figure, the closer to the date, depending on how many preorder it.

As for the PC version of YsVI, the first 100.000 preorders would get the limited edition (Ys Complete Works and that DVD). Thing is, they kept selling those even AFTER the release!

Actually, you are spot-on. They are rough tracks, not the same as what will be heard in the final game... which is likely to have a separate, official OST release. Thanks for confirming that. And why would you not want the seven other discs? They're rereleases, but ... a pretty darn good deal any way you slice it. Particularly considering how much those same discs would go for on eBay or otherwise second-hand. I didn't say I wouldn't want it (in fact, after an hour or two of drooling at the box-set after posting, I eventually caved in and sent my email to Falcom to place an order). I just wanted to be clear on what it was we were actually getting on that 8th CD, since I had seen the word "soundtrack" in the threads once or twice. Problem is now, I'm likely going to have to order the OSV album separately when it's finally released - unless I can communicate to Falcom to ship it with my earlier order, if they make them available in time. With the language barrier, that might be tricky. ;^) Oh well... NBD...

Hey does anyone know if Falcom charges your credit once you pre order or will they wait till 30th of June? If they do the latter then I'm gonna pre order right away.

Okay after skimming everything...
It's a Ys III remake...but why isn't it Ys VII??
And it's not coming out in North America?!

Ys 3 deserved a good remake. And this one will be memorable. Who care about North America ?

Falcom is opening a can of worms. Now they're gonna have to remake Ys I & II with the same 3D graphics and engine. I think the Ys Eternal games were awesome, but how awesome would the Dark Fact battle be in 3D? Just think, they could call it Ys Forever. To me it sounds better than Eternal. Oh well, I'm sure I'm not the first person to bring this up, I just wanted to mention it anyway. I can't wait for the Oath in Felghana, I just got confirmation from Falcom yesterday that my order was accepted, with all the extras. I want to hear the new Redmont arrangement so bad!!!!!

It sure would be nice if Square-Enix would release an english version of those Ys 6 novels.
