Maybe you can try lowering the settings even more or try fiddling around the audio and video acceleration options in the Windows Control Panel.
I could only find stuff relating to acceleration in my NVIDIA's Control Panel program. Is that what you meant to try, or is there somewhere else to fiddle around with those settings?
In any case, I've tried putting the settings to "Low" in the config, and it ended up freezing at Galbalan. It's just as well, as the graphics on that setting didn't feel quite right, anyway. The latest patch was already installed, and the game was already running in fullscreen mode. A disk check revealed nothing important, but running the defragmentation program might have. Nightwolve and Deuce's patching program was apparently fragmented, as was a Felghana file called "data.na". The patching program was apparently successfully defragmented, but not "data.na" - I wonder if that has to do with anything...?
In any case, the game is still freezing randomly - last freeze was during Time Attack mode against Guilen. On the bright side, I've completed Time Attack mode a grand total of 3 times; tried it maybe 10-15 times (mostly to see if it still freezes). Think it might be time to upgrade the graphics card? Any other suggestions?

hi! I just started playing and it's awesome - however I have a problem - I went to the mine and found the mayor guy - the mayor asked me to investigate some new area where there is a boss. However I can't defeat it/her. I read a walkthrough that said I need fireballs but I looked in my inventory and I just have a sword - how do I use/get firballs?
You either skipped the mid-boss (all the way to the left from the vertical shaft with all the wood platforms, behind a locked door another miner gave you the key to) or you forgot to look around after beating it. The Fire Ring is found in the room south of where you encounter Dularn.
you guys forgot the ruby! it'll help you a lot with bigger fire ball and more damage! remember the cave with many bugs falling from upside? it have the chest there, but you can only open it until you shoot the fire ball to the torch next to it.
That's an anti-piracy / anti-cheat measure. Basically, it happens if you're trying to cheat or pirate the game. Did you edit the game's .ini file at all? If so, you'll have to start a new game. If you're trying to play it from a downloaded ISO or something like that... there's really nothing I can do to help you; you'd just have to uninstall it and buy the game. I hope this helps!
