I recently just got this game from a friend. its really nice! also i found out that theres an addon pack right? with arenas, adol etc. I really want this addon. Found on the forums that i have to order it right? but it was 1-2 years ago. Can someone help me out? is it possible to get the addon through other ways? or if i can get it from falcom (buying) can someone help me out? i cant understand a single japanese  and never bought anything online. Im willing to sped for the origin addon though, but not for the whole game. Thanks in advance! |

no. a friend of mine who played this game a year ago gave me his copy. I am willing to buy my own copy but not now since i dont have enough money yet. (not working)

It's a huge patch for Ys ORIGIN. Includes many things to the game, including Arena Mode, on which you can use even YsF's and Ys VI's Adol.
And other things.

After addon is intalled put the Ys origin 's CD in your drive and play  And you must finish the game one time for unlocking the arena mode (I'm not sure about that) |

Okay, and one more question. I (shoot me in the leg for this, cuz I'm really sorry!)  downloaded the Ys Origin ISO and it came with 3, CD-ROM sized files...do I need to combine them and burn it to a DVD? Thanks...and sorry for the illegality...I do buy what American Ys games I can though... |

I didn't know there is a cd version of Origin ^^. Just try your ISO one by one to find the cd required for playing.

Well, there actually isn't a CD version...I think he just basically cut up the DVD ISO to make it into 3 CD sized parts. I will keep trying though, thanks!

Well, I would HATE to bring up that subject here too, so I'll just help. (Though I suppose you're under 18 and you can't have any card/account for international purchases and other things, so I personally don't see anything wrong, in your case.)
Whether you have to combine these 3 archives or not, that solely depends of the file extension.
If it's ".zip" or ".rar", you need to uncompress them (if the files are linked to each other, when you do it, only one file will result of the 3). If not, like ".iso", ".cue", ".bin", ".ccd" and the like you will only be able to burn a disc with them.
If you have any more further technical problems, you should try to look for a hacking community or something, since this isn't quite the right place for that.

Okay, sorry bout that. I am under 18 though, and the are ISOs. I'm just gonna have to keep trying lol. Thanks anyway! But hey, at least I know it's looking for the disk; that's plenty of info for me! XD
