It's very interesting, I'll check this savefile. If it's true, I'll try to figure out the way to activate it without save (if I have free time). Though I hope that your friend will tell you earlier.

Yeah, Adol comes with the extra disc (which is included in purchases of Ys Origin for a while now.)
You either have to unlock through beating the game with each of the characters or through an edit on one of the files.

Hey guys if you want to unlocks adol on story mode you have to finish the game completely

I'm sure that there are people who finished YsO completely even on Nightmare but I've never heard of opportunity to play Adol Story Mode. Btw, a save with Adol in story is just a some kind of hack because it doesn't have a last boss script. So even there is a way to begin YsO with Adol, it's likely not to have any scene script so it's unplayable.

Yeah; as far as I'm aware, beating the game with every character on every difficulty just unlocks Yunica EX Schoolgirl Outfit w/Teddy; unless there's some secret that we're unaware of.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure Adol story mode was just a hack. I actually found a save similar to that in a pack once.
But, the Schoolgirl Yunica costume is totally worth it.
