There are instructions with the download. To be honest, it's really easy, there are other patches for games that you can't apply like this, & I've always found a pain, but this is soooooooo easy. BTW, download the demo of CDRwin by Golden Hawk.
well I figured it out finally..... but the new info after batching wont fit on a standard CD so now I gotta find a larger capacity one...... sigh.....nothin is easy with Ys but its worth it once you figure it all out
Well I have patched the game and tried everything from mounting the bin image and cue image to Daemon tools and using them on magic engine which made the computer freeze and also said "load error" and also did the same on Yame. I did get the game to play on the Yame emulator but no music. I also tried Winiso to convert the bin image to ISO image to burn to a disc but it said the BIN file was corrupt. I do know however that the patch worked when I clicked "patch" it did everything ok.
The dracula X I was refering to was online you could download all the files, data and music then burn them to a disc but it did the same thing and said load error. ---> www.classicgaming.com/thedump/tg16/dracx/

So, the dubbing is going to be in the form of a patch then, I was wondering, but everytime I talk to Justus, I forget to ask. So it would actually change the audio tracks somehow, when you apply the patch, including the redbook audio? Well, I gotta get to work on my parts of the dubbing, there's been drawbacks, for instance, right now, tis raining like crazy, which can be heard on my mic, since I don't have a booth to record in...yet he he! Plus with the lighting, it tends to create little clips of sound.....very annoying. Anyhoo, once it's all finished, I hope everyone is happy with my parts....as well as everyone elses, I just want to make sure I do my best!
Oh.. I completely missed this post, and I made a whole topic for it. Well, I guess it's easier to find it that way. That's what happens when I'm not around.

Interesting to note that on the Ys IV English Patch screenshot page, it has 'Promarock', but in the final patch it is 'Promalock'. I know the problems with translating l/r in Japanese and I wonder what swung it from r to l.
In Japanesem there is no specific letter fro L or R because in Japanese language L and R sound the same when pronounced but when converting to English most of the time it is written with R not with L. Thanks to Deuce of course for knowning what falcom intended. I have so many thing to try !!! thank you guys for the hard work. You rocks
