Hmm.. That music was really starting to sound good, like the Ys style a lot!

Oh, phew! They didn't show any gameplay! Proves even they hate the game!

i wonder is this all from the DS? i have seen the DS and the music did not sound to good on the games i had played, i wonder if the music is just a soundtrack specially made for the demo movie. i am more interested in seeing the game myself, it seems that the story parts graphics are way better then the game itself.

Computer generated graphics and the music's clearly not from the game. If you listen to the music samples, you'll notice it's just MIDI.

I first bought Jak & Daxter I because of some great music they had in the demo movie, turns out the game didn't have too much music at all. Also, that cool music was nowhere to be found.

Maybe. But not that hi-res. I don't think that is part of the game, I think it is specifically made for that "trailer."

The Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow intro shocked me. I thought it was very well done. It seems likely (I hope) this is at least part of the opening for this game, maybe?

This is the exact same thing I was going to say! Plus, the music is great in DoS! The DS has surprised me to say the least! Has anyone seen the cinemas for the new Seiken Densetsu for DS? Cuz I haven't, but, I've heard there's quite a bit of animatiion.

Have you guys not seen the CGs for Meteos and Metroid Prime Hunters? Thats pretty damn high res right there. I know the DS can display everything in that video in a cinematic, for sure. I mean, the intro CG in Meteos alone actaly looks a lot better than that entire Ys video. But it'd be much better if they'd take advantage of both screens like other cinematics in DS games do.
The video wasnt so bad, the music was pretty good.... but the whole thing was way too short and didnt realy bring anything new to us. I hate it when developers dont focus on describing gameplay in videos, interviews, etc. Its just silly, i mean its a game, not a movie or a story. Developers can praise their cinematics and stories as much as they want, but it all boils down to how it plays. Hopefully if this game is releasing here (there is still no US release announcement and the game has already arrived in Japan... things are looking meek), then IGN will get some gameplay videos up sooner or later...

I finally watched it, & I agree, that there's nothing in that demo that the DS can't do. I haven't seen the video's for Meteos or Metroid, but, just with the few games I have, I don't see why the DS couldn't handle all of that

Who cares if it is part of the game or not? The point is that they didn't show anything from the actual game! That video is useless.

At least Adol seems to be in it. From what I heard it sounded like Adol wasn't in it, and that worried me. A Ys game with out Adol is like...like... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... a pen with out ink! Yeah!

That's not Adol, that's Abel. Marvelous went out of imagination while designing a new character, so they just ripped off something, hoping nobody would notice. Unfortunately, they happened to rip off Ys, so everybody noticed.

I thought I read some where that he has amnesia though. Not saying it is, but it 'could' be Adol with amnesia. Just saying that it looks exactly like Adol down to his armor.
