It looks like Ys Eternal Story, the North American release, have dropped off the face of the earth Someone on the playstation webpage said it's been "delayed" again... couldn't Falcom publish like a limited release for North America from their webpage??

Like I said, there will NOT be a US version of this game! It's just a rumor! Nothing is going on in Japan, this is a dead game!

The best thing to do is mod your PS2(if you dont have a japanese version PS2) and get a copy of Y's Eternal 1 and 2. I dont understand japanese at all but I was able to play through the whole game except at one point where you had to talk to certain people to get the entrance to Darm Tower to open up. The game is fully worth getting and I am just exstatic that Taito is doing remakes of III, IV, and V. I will definetely import these suckers when they come out. By the way, if you get stuck in Y's Eternal for PS2, just go to gamefaq and get a walkthrough to get yourself out of the parts where you get stuck. I agree that this game has a very slim chance of making it to US soil for the PS2. I've heard that SONY has rejected this game from coming over, but maybe if Y's VI does very good then the rejectance may turn to a acceptance.

Woo hoo, if anyone is interested in getting the LE edition, <a href=" www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-17jg.html"> here's a site </a> where it should be listed about 10 bucks cheaper than just the game by itself ;D

here's an ebay link if anyone wants it... I want!!! But I dont have a modchip in my ps2 cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8150958714&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V <--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dude, I have a link above that where you can get it cheaper, yea, it might take a little while to arrive, but It'll save you money. Right Here . It's actually the same price compared to the game on the site when you add it up with shipping, weird. I could also give you a code for a $5 off code cuz I'm not gonna use it. Just e-mail me. If you wanna mod-chip, This should work for ya . I recommend that if you don't want to open your PS2 and go through all that trouble, on their site they have these swap magic disks and card. At first, it was odd learning how to use it, but after a little while, i got used to it cause I wanna keep my PS2 under warranty still . Offer's out to everyone! (Geez, I'm so new, how do you make other people's comments smaller?!?!?! I bet it's so easy I'm gonna feel stupid.)

I've got a little thing against swap magic... if you're not careful, you might end up breaking the cd tray. I'm sure it doesn't happen often but probably does...
As for modchips, I would like to try to do it myself but i have no soldering skillz! lol

I used to think I couldn't do the modding thing either. But after gathering my courage, I finally tried with the simplest soldering mod I know, a Sega Saturn! After successfully modding my Saturn, I'm currently enjoying the 2nd and 3rd scenario of Shining Force III, which I hadn't gotten to play before, not to mention Radiant Silvergun! I may try modding my PSOne next.

Saturn mod was easy?! I thought it was really tough, in fact I botched two of them. Pulled the solder points off along with the jumper. I've modded just about every other console too. There's a modchip you can get with Swap Magic that just plugs into the ribbon cable, no soldering. It basically allows you to open the tray for swapping by holding down the eject button till it turns orange and ejects faster than usual. Works pretty well too. I'll have to find the link...
