I wonder what are ALL the Tales games, remakes and new, that came after the original PS2 JP TotA. They must have stuck up TotA cameos just everywhere since then. Well, I ought to give Tales of VS. another chance, at least... >_< Don't even like non-TotA Tales games much... Although I didn't give them much chance, either. Also, I feel my signature won't get more updates in terms of quantity of red-haired swordsmen. It's hard to find more of them that are this awesome, and especially of different companies. Wander Wonder one really leaves me curious, though. Too bad his game is doomed to always be Japanese-only, and to get it to run nowadays is probably even harder than getting Ys ETERNAL to run.

So, so tired of being sick and useless. My bones are killing me, I'm hocking up solid bruised banana colored phlegm, my head is pounding, my knees, ankles, hips, and left wrist are cracking, I still have a migraine, I feel nauseous, and I imagine that if I could compare my mental state to anything, it would be best described as "near comatose". I'm not going to call in sick tomorrow, since I already did that for today. I don't want to be useless, I don't want to be incapacitated, and I don't want to be debilitated. So I'm going to work through it. I just as well should be able to. The symptoms are degrading, which is a plus. I'm feeling slightly more capable now than a few days ago.

Is that the official abbreviation for Ys Celceta? I'm always thinking something else whenever I see that. It's CnK

Wander Wonder one really leaves me curious, though. Too bad his game is doomed to always be Japanese-only, and to get it to run nowadays is probably even harder than getting Ys ETERNAL to run. Heya Red Hairdo, awhile back Kimimi discovered a method of getting Wonder Wander to work pretty well on Windows 7. I tested her process as well and it works well for me too, even if it is windowed at it's original 640 x 480 resolution. You need to use a program called DXWnd and run the game through that using the "Automatic" and "Emulate 256 Color Palette" options checked. This will get the game to run and I've attached the version of DXWnd that works. Some of the newer versions have been updated and do not necessarily have the same options as this version. After you get in the game, you may notice that the text can be rather dark and the screen flickers a bit, however if you go to the options menu and switch the HP gauge option to Type 1, the flickering stops and the text displays in the correct color! I wouldn't say it is doomed really, just hasn't been a team interested in translating it yet. It's such a cool game! DXWIND (Version that works with Wonder Wander) -Thomas

Out walking today, I was four feet away from a Falcon who caught a squirrel. The Falcon looked frakklyn awesome, and didn't seem bothered by me. Man, I wish I had my camera!

Example 1 HAI CAN HAS STDIO? VISIBLE "HAI WORLD!" KTHXBYE
Code | Comment HAI In all LOLCODE programs, HAI ("Hi!") introduces the program. CAN HAS [LIBRARY]? In many programming languages, one of the first statements will be a library inclusion for common functions such as input and output. Typically this is included by a call such as #include <stdio.h> [stdio standing for standard input/output library]. This command is a tongue-in-cheek corruption of that, asking if a library is obtainable, obtaining it if possible, and raising an exception if not.[5] It is there primarily for authenticity — in fact, it is ignored in current implementations of LOLCODE. VISIBLE [MESSAGE] prints a message to the screen. KTHXBYE Just as HAI introduces the program, KTHXBYE (meaning "Okay thanks, bye") terminates it.
HAI CAN HAS STDIO? PLZ OPEN FILE "LOLCATS.TXT"? AWSUM THX VISIBLE FILE O NOES INVISIBLE "ERROR!" KTHXBYE
Example 3HAI CAN HAS STDIO? I HAS A VAR IM IN YR LOOP UP VAR!!1 VISIBLE VAR IZ VAR BIGGER THAN 10? KTHX IM OUTTA YR LOOP KTHXBYE

ImplementationsThe first LOLCODE implementation was a PHP parser written by Jeff Jones.[7][8] The parser's website was also the first website using LOLCODE as an actual web scripting language. Being open source with a BSD style license, it has been forked and used by multiple websites to implement LOLCODE scripting. The winning Pecha Kucha presentation at PHP Works 2008 was about this parser.[9][10]
There is a .NET compiler for LOLCODE written by Nick Johnson,[11] and featured in Microsoft developer training seminars, TechEd 2007 Conference (Australia).[12][13][14]
PL/LOLCODE, a project headed by Josh Tolley, makes LOLCODE available as a server-side programming language inside PostgreSQL.[15]
Microsoft Dynamic Language Runtime has an implementation of LOLCODE for testing purposes.[16]
A LOLCODE to JavaScript translator is also available [17]
There is also a LOLCODE compiler included with the Parrot virtual machine as one of the languages demonstrating the use of Parrot's compiler tools.[18]
A low-level interpreter written in C exists, maintained by Justin J. Meza, to provide native LOLCODE interpretation on a variety of platforms.[19]
[edit] Related projectsLOLCODE has also inspired LOLPython, written by Andrew Dalke. LOLPython uses LOL-inspired syntax similar to that of LOLCODE, but with a Python-like style. It operates by translating the LOLPython source into Python code.[20]

Send my thanks to Kimimi as well, if you ever get the chance. Hm, I have heard of some programs that'd function as workarounds for old Win95/98 games, but never put my hands on it. You have spared me a lot of time, thanks again. The flickering issue sounds very similar to what sometimes happens in Ys ETERNAL, as well. Something I managed to fix in some PCs and in others not (like mine). Interesting to see one might experience a similar issue in Wander Wonder.

There's a guy who does (or used to do) cellphone game reviews on some page, and he reviewed the Ys English one. I've been thinking of contacting him...

I learnt something the other day.
If you are a smoker, and you want to stop smoking, don't drink coffee.
Wish I had forewarned my fellow classmates of that back when I did this one coffee "class"... In two different places...
=(
