Probably plummeting like everyone else's stock. :B Is the Nikkei actually affected? I was under the impression this stock market crash was mostly a U.S. thing. -Tom Whoa there buddy. If I hadn't known you that well, I'd have something harsh to say to that. No it's not just a U.S. thing. Money needs to be invested in Asian resources. Most Asian countries aren't that rich so the money has to come from somewhere ultimately. And what better place to get money from than the banks in countries like the US? At least countries now are a lot smarter so there's some sort of reserve to fall back on but with the US stocks doing bungee jumping, it ain't helping much.

It started out as a USA thing, but the economy crisis has spread all over the world because of it. A domino effect.

The actual engine programming is probebly outsourced to South Korea or something. only quality control en administrative services are done at the office in Japan. 50 people could be accurate as the size at the Tokyo office wasn't too big.

If you look at the credit rolls of their games, it consists of roughly the same people every time. And there aren't many names in there.

I can't imaging Playstation era game technology taking many resources to make. Sure Ys games look pretty, but the engine they are built on has been mastered years ago. I am not surprised there teams are so small, but really I am happy with that. See it doesn't take 47 million to make a great game.
