Insanity, based on the old game Berzerk is now up for preorder! Even though I wasn't involved in the creation of this particular title, I would love as many people as possible to purchase it, atleast to the point where it will cover all Arkhan's expenses for pressing the game, manuals, legal stuff, etc. Especially since he has an Arcade game remake coming next featuring about 5 or 6 games totally remade & expanded upon, though, I don't know if I'm at liberty to discuss which games he's planning on, I think I can safely say one of them is based on Pac-Man, but, like I said, it's not going to be your standard Pac-Man clone, there's going to be alot more to it! Anways, here's the site: aetherbyte.com/

BTW, I might mention that our(Frozen Utopia) first game, Mysterious Song is back on the bandwagon, as Nod is able to code again since he has more time, so all the new stuff is being added, & we're back in doing beta testing. Plus, I think he found somone near him to press the cd's, make the manuals, etc. so that he can keep a close eye on quality!

Man I want that game so bad, but I'm really out of cash. Hope there are still a few copies kicking around when I next come into some money.

I've watched videos of Ys III T-CD, and played Ys III SNES and PS2 (and Oath in Felghana), so I think I'm pretty good on Ys III-age, personally. But if I ever get a chance to play Ys III T-CD, I probably will, since it's not an especially long game or anything. -Tom There is no such thing as being pretty good on Ys III-age! Oath in Felghana was a masterpiece. I think I will play that again this weekend.

I liked Ys 6 over YsF, but that's because I'm not so big on Ys III to begin with.

Not musically, or story wise they aren't.

Yeah but they are remakes from the same songs that were already used, and the game has the same storyline, except its far more fleshed out.

Ys III PCE kicks YsF's OST's ass. And for many tracks the PS2 version as well. Ooh, why is this so nostalgic? My thoughts on the matter are scattered everywhere, for the curious ones. xD

Um it has the same characters, all acting and doing almost the exact same things they did in the previous games. The same bad guy comes, and the same motives are used. Saying its a different story is preposterous dude. Its different yes, but black and white speaking, its the same story. I'm playing through it right now, and I've come off playing Ys III for TCD a few months back. Believe me when I say they are the same in many aspects. I don't know why there would be any thinking otherwise, seeing how its a REMAKE. Yeeeeaaaaah...... see?

I think for the most part, Oath has a better ost then the TG Ys 3. But, I love both! I would deffinitly say though, that the TG version IMO is better then anyother version aside from Oath.

Concerning the story:
YsIII + cliche = YsF
Some stuff they did were nice, but A LOT wasn't. I don't mean YsF's story is BAD, though. More details in the link I put above.
