Where can one purchase zwei II plus? It looks pretty cool. I checked yesasia and play-asia and all I found was the Chinese versions which I'm guessing won't work with the patch being worked on. I'm not too keen on play-asia anyway since my last order had problems.
Anyway Thanks for all the translation efforts.

You can order directly from Falcom. There's a thread somewhere around here that gives all the instructions.

I was afraid that would be the only way. I have ordered through them before, back when I was in college. But those where different times. I just don't feel as comfortable now sending my credit card info in plaintext through email. I wonder if those prepaid visas you can get at walmart would work. Ill look through that thread and see if anyone else has done that. Its a shame Himeyashop is gone.
Thanks for the replies.

And you are indeed lucky, for this week's special is Zwei II+ with guide book. That was how I purchased it last year, and even as Japanese illiterate I found the guidebook to be a great help tracking down all those elusive pots in each level. Plus the art in it is great!

Ahh, Nintendo Power. I think I still have an old binder I created by cutting out that five-issue long treatment of Secret of Mana somewhere with all that artwork. They just don't make them like they used to. That, the multi-issue review of Final Fantasy, that nifty presentation of Crystalis that set off every 'must buy' flag in my eight year old brain...

I was afraid that would be the only way. I have ordered through them before, back when I was in college. But those where different times. I just don't feel as comfortable now sending my credit card info in plaintext through email. Please do not think you are the only one who feels that way, even in this forum. I have ordered from Falcom before and I still have that reservation every time I do it, even if nothing has happened. It is possible to use some Prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift credit cards to order online. But my experience was that you had register the card so there is a billing address associated with it - not needed for most brick and mortar transactions, but a must for online ones. There should be instructions with the gift prepaid card on how to do that, often by calling a customer service number. Have you asked your bank or financial institution if they sell reloadable credit cards? Those cards should not be tied to your checking or saving accounts, allow you to set the limit on how much you can spend, and already comes with your billing address without additional effort. Himeya's closure was a surprise to me too. The pricing and shipping rates were on the high end, but since their US office handled billing, it was easier in some ways to buy from them. C.T.

Yeah There is even some parts for my sons crib that I have to order from the factory and I need to email my credit card info. So I haven't done that yet either. Ive been doing some research and thats what I came up with; as well as it needs to not say domestic use only on the front of the card. But seems like if you don't mind doing a little extra it should work. I was not aware of that as an option. I will look into it. Thanks for the tip. I agree their prices where high, too high many times but it was easy. And I never had to wait 15 days for an in stock item to ship only to have it switch to back ordered on the day it was supposed to go out. Which has happend to me twice with play-asia recently. Well It looks like I'm going to miss out on this special because I'm going on a work related trip tomorrow morning and won't be back untill after the special is over. Oh well maybe I will get lucky and there will be another Zwei special in the near future. A combo Zwei!! ZweiII+ would be great since it looks like they are going to be translating the first one now.

If anyone happens to have photoshop specifically and has IM of some sort that would be willing to lend me some short assistance (You don't have to be GOOD with photoshop, I just need a few images converted), post or PM. Thanks!

I need a psd that is using proprietary rastering effects which only show up in photoshop, to be converted out into some other image form for use.

Thanks! How complicated of a photoshop job are we talking here? If it's just opening a file and export converting it to PNG or something I might be able to help out. I've been checking this thread every couple of days recently for any news on a release date, really looking forward to the patch release.

Holidays and other life events have slowed up translation work, but at least in the case of Zwei 2, it's really just waiting on the art assets to be finished.
Zwei!! however is coming along strong, with a large amount of refinements to the UI and so forth.
As for the photoshop thing, purportedly someone said they were going to take care of it, so I'll give them time to follow through with their word.
