@the pic - Adol is eyeing his hoes. Dogi is eyeing a wall in the back alley. It looked at him wrong.. or he thinks a doorway would be best suited there

He's dissatisifed with the fact that there may be a door there. That wall is his to pass through and his alone.

BTW, Adoru: I let our PR guy know. He's looking into the issue with Metacritic. -Tom Looks like it's fixed. :) Thanks for looking into that. I want you guys to get the attention you deserve. I spot a review from someone named adoru. Is this why you were so concerned? :B

I'm still hoping it gets some more reviews soon, hopefully some above 8 to counteract the 7's.

Oath in Felghana (PC version) received a score of 96, so I certainly expect a good score.

The more I play this game, the more it feels like DoY & MotS. Not sure why. But, I'm now betting that Ys 4 will be remade using this game engine. Ys 5 I think would be better suited to the Napishtim engine, so they'd have to go back to using that one, which is fine by me. Though, if they use this engine for Ys 4, I wonder if they'd have to add a few more characters to the game for the battle system.

Oh boy, Karna FTW. Especially with a fresh arrangement of my most-listened-to Ys track, her theme.

As long as I could play as Karna the entire game, I wouldn't mind.

Any DoY remake is fine by me. Falcom don't dissapoint.

I don't think Falcom can do a Dawn of Ys remake, since it's from Hudson and not from Falcom. that would be a Mask of the Sun remake people

I want an Ys V remake as well, it seems like it has a really interesting setting. An Ys IV remake would be nice too, but they better not make that Arem guy canon. From what I gathered he was Darm's boss or master or something along those lines? That's ridiculous, Darm shouldn't have a boss

Hmm, I never picked up that plot point. I always thought they were separate... Darm was from 700 years ago in Ys and Arem was from some time in Celceta's past but not necessarily the same time as Darm.

Well, it was a comment I saw on Youtube, so I could be wrong, but if it's true that needs to remain non-canon forever.

I realy don't think by any means that Arem has any connection to Darm! As for Dawn of Ys remake, really, any Ys 4 game Falcom would do, wouldn't really be a remake at all, since we've never seen any version of Ys 4 from Falcom themselves. So, they can use whatever parts they chose from any of the 3 released Ys 4's, & that's not counting the Mega CD game & IIRC, Falcom's own unreleased X68000 game? Or maybe I dreamed that last one.
Also, Dawn of Ys was originally cannon. As far as we know, Sara is the only thing that directly conflicts with the rest of the series. I have no idea if Arem is Hudson made.....but he probably was, so that could possibly conflict with the cannon as well?

I preordered this the second I bought my PSP. Kinda sad I can't play the UMD due to my having CFW, but I'm still playing it, and loving the hell out of it, nonetheless.

I have CFW and I'm playing it off of UMD. Just upgrade to Prometheus.

I got my copy of the Limited Edition today! *sniffs everything in the package*
This totally reeks of Working Designs back in the 90s XD
Anyway, I got a minor complaint - the packaging for the soundtrack feels so.... hong kong bootleggy. I dunno - maybe somedoy I'd say it's part of its charm.

They spent money doing everything else (like the useless giant cloth map that everyone seems to like except me). Give 'em a break. Frankly, I think the music CD would look more appealing if it had a completely clear case instead of ye olde typical one with the black spine. But hey, we'll take what we can get since XSEED's going the extra mile. :3!
