Hello everyone,
My name is Federico and I'm from Italy.
Despite my long running interest in video games, I've always skipped the Ys games over until recently, for one reason or another. My loss, might I add.
It was the excellent Ys feature on Hardcore Gaming 101 (its mp3 samples in particular) that really got me into the series and its awesome music.
So far, I've played Ys Book I & II (PCE) Ys III (both PCE and MD) and Ys IV (both PCE and SFC) and still haven't had enough! I look forward to exchange views with all of you.
See you around
Fede

Thanks, I'll definitely get Ys VI for PS2 when it comes out in Europe (too bad it's been delayed!). As for Felghana, I've already preordered it (looks quite promising).

Hey, welcome!
Italy, eh? You're the only one (that I know of) from Italy here!
Have fun at the boards!

Thank you, Seldane.
Not that I expected to find any compatriots, really. You see, in Italy the Ys series is as popular as, for instance, Mike Oldfield's music. A shame in both cases, if you ask me.
Fortunately, it seems that just across the Alps things are a bit different, so I ended up here. Anyway, the many more countries represented, the better, I guess.

My whole family are huge fans of Michael Oldfield. All of them but me. But I have heard every song and I know them inside and out. I've heard all those songs since I was a kid. Now I'm free though.
