Hello, new to the board here, been out of the Ys scene for awhile. Used to run a website called the Ancient Ys Library until I got fed up with all the maintenance I've been an Ys fan since my father first turned on the Turbo-CD and the opening sequence overloaded my fragile child-brain circuits. The music has been one of the greatest inspirations on me and my music (I am the keyboardist for the Dallas rock band Inprism), and IMO simply some of the greatest videogame music out there, right above the ranks of Castlevania and Final Fantasy. I have played Ys Eternal thanks to an anoymous donor I have yet to play the new releases, though everytime I see the screenshots I have to replace my keyboard due to drool soakage. I have been on-and-off working on a project for Neverwinter Nights called Clerian Legend: The Ancient Land of Ys which I hope will be a perpetual world taking place in the ancient days of Ys' glory before the first fall (in other words, 700 years before the games take place). I'm taking a somewhat Tolkienistic way of approaching it, that is, de-evolving many of the familiar aspects and adding new things and new cities. Don't have too much time to work on it, though, so it'll probably be done by 2097, hehe. Check ya laters

Reiver.net? My god! I loved that page!! You don't happen to have it on your computer or something? 'Cause it'd be fantastic to see it again. It's one of the first webpages that I added to my favorites and constantly visited!
It's awesome to have you here! Welcome!

Reiver.net? My god! I loved that page!! You don't happen to have it on your computer or something? Unfortunately not, I actually had it on my HD up until 10 months ago when I had a HD crash and lost it...it had stayed preserved just as it had in its last online post up until then. Sorry! I'm glad to see you liked it though, I never got any feedback on it while it was around! (Well, except for the AYL, and that was 40% people asking for Ys4 ISOs ) I've thought about reviving it, but I've never gotten much further as I really don't have time to do it anymore. Plus, so much has happened in the Ys scene lately that I haven't had the funds to keep up (*almost* bought Ys 6 even though I don't have a PS2, hehe), so I don't see it happening in the near future.

OK MP, explain to me how you managed to steal my last post. xDDDDD You didn't expect it... but I took a screenshot as a proof! Ha! Now that I think of it... you deleted mine and posted yours! The posting time of mine and yours are different! xD You Honor! I see a contradiction here, let me cross-examine! ... I have been playing too much Phoenix Wright. xD

But you can't prove you didn't delete the post either with the mod skiilz!
That makes us even. xD (Also I suck at Photoshop anyway. xD)

Welcome to the madhouse Forums!
Honestly, a lot of folks here are very nice. I'm still pretty new myself. Just watch out for a post from "the Director of Fanservice". He's really wacky.
