You who bought Falcom Special Box 2004 probably saw the video of an unnamed RPG from Falcom back in 2003. It was in the last video, combined with a preview for Gurumin.
Well, the game shown in the video, is, in fact - Xanadu Next. It looks identical to the N-Gage game (I have played it - most/all? of what was shown in the video is in the N-Gage version).
Since this video was from 2003, and no other news has been said about it, I dare to say they ported it to N-Gage and canned the PC release.
It's a shame, of course, since Xanadu Next is excellent - but the PC version looked an awful lot better.
I wonder if the PC version will ever be released, probably not, since Xanadu Next is N-Gage Exclusive - Nokia has the rights for it. But I guess the one who lives will see what happens.

I had no idea there was a PC version in the works. Are there any screenshots or videos of it available for download? Xanadu Next on the N-Gage looks really grainy, I'd imagine it's hard to see what's going on. If I had my choice, I'd get a PC or PS2 version rather than an N-Gage one.

Well seems quite interesting. I never played xanadu before. How are those games ? Like Ys, ? or gurumin ? legend of heroes ? How is the feeling ? heroic fantasy ?...

it looks good, is xanadu next releated to legend of xanadu on the pc engine? that one was just like Ys 1 and 2 except when you fought the boss it thn became a side scrolling adventure game, this one looks like it might be the same. which would be quite awesome.

Nope. Its based on Xanadu (the original one). It's very similiar to YsVI. It's a lot of fun. I'm sure the PC version will be good too.

Is this the same Xanadu with the hero Feeg Kamura from the comic series that Falcom had on their website awhile back?
