Hello everyone. I'm relatively familiar with this community, since I've been lurking and occasionaly gathering informations from here. I decided to register today to let you know of my project, as I think it could draw the interest of some of you. I have been a Falcom freak eversince I played Ys 3 on the PCE something like 10 years ago. I have been playing their games eversince then and became a fanatic of their music. I think many will agree that music is for a huge part a definitive element of Falcom's games greatness. ^_^ As internet allowed me to complete my Falcom music collection files, I became eager to know more about the personalities behind the music. The idea of a database listing all available elements composing the huge amount fo works that is Falcom music is something I had in mind for a long time. And well, I finally started it. I set up a wiki and already started filling it with all the infos I could gather across the last couple years. A few people started helping already, and I'm hoping some of you will join as well. This is indeed a huge task, but the idea of it being completed is, at least for me, a huge motivation factor. The complexity of the whole thing requires a real team work where everyone must be careful about making their additions matching the rest. Feel free to contact by AIM, mail or in this topic if you hesitate on something. =) Hoping that you'll find this interest worthy, anyway. ^_^

You know Deuce, it's quite funny, because I searched on your site a few days ago for a way to contact you that I never found, and now you're the first one to reply to this. =D As for why I wanted to contact you, well, I was thinking you'd be interested in participating, seeing the very detailed music informations your site contained. I was pretty sure it was from Ys Music Files and the likes, too. As for the bad translations, I'm of course on your side provided you're sure of yours being the right ones. I'm guessing it only starts from Ys 3, as basically all the ones from Ys 1/2 are originally in english. As I plan on doing things gradually, the Ys 2 page is still to be done, but heh, feel free to create the Ys 3/4/5 pages with your corrected track names if you wish.

Well, you know, it's a wiki, so feel free to edit/create all you wish. I'll probably end up using your site for double-checking references as you seem quite serious about it anyway. ^_^

This seems very similiar to the long running Falcom CD Catalog. But it does look promising, especially with the cd labels and such. Keep up the good work!
