Definitely. I've finished every puzzle in the game. Some of them are really tricky! But I love them!

Hi guys!! Can anyone ehlp me out? I've just finished beating the third boss (Magmawyrm, I think - the one where you fight him in a room filled with lava). I then seem to have gotten a pendan which (based on my limited understanding of Japanese) allows you to move underwater. From there I can't seem to figure out where to go. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!! PS The priestess seems to have disappeared. Am I supposed to go look for her? If so, where can I find her? Thanks!!

Go back to the village. The shore is on the southern part of there. Enter the water.

Sigh.. Stuck again... After going underwater, I've met up with the boss (the big eye) and beaten it. After which I end up with a balcony facing a lot of water and the some sort of gate with an eye. Am I supposed to shoot it with the bow? If so, where am I supposed to get the arrows/ammo for it? I think somebody did say that I was supposed to get it from the priestess, but she's still missing. I'd appreciate any help with this. Thanks in advance.

Get it from someone in the village. Not sure where, make sure you look everywhere. Even in that weird thing in the western part of the village.

Dammit, I still have to beat the big eye But it's nearly impossible, because his attacks can kill me in no time, and are very hard to avoid. Any idea ?

That's very odd. I thought it was very easy. It sounds like there's something wrong...

This game looks amazing! After reading everyones posts about how much fun the game is I went ahead and ordered it from falcom this week (Weekly speical is the benefit edition and guide for 4700,) Does anyone know where I can find an english walkthrough? The only place I could think of was gamefaqs but there's nothing there... any help would be great thanks!

There's no English walkthrough. Someone's working on a walkthrough for the N-Gage version. You'll have to wait for that one I guess. But seriously though... this game is really easy. You won't get stuck.. And IF you do -- we're here to help you.

You have to play them! They are awesome! After Ys it is my second favorite Falcom series. The first one is a little more difficult, but if you have patience, it is really one heck of a game. Let me know if you need any help with them.

I know what you're talking about. I have encountered that, but I don't know how to stop it. It seems like both the Project Egg versions have slowdowns. I haven't had that problem all the time. It only seemed to occur every once in a while. I remember one time I left it running for a few minutes without playing it and it was really slow then when I trtied to play again. Sorry don't have any more info to share. My computer knowledge is extremely lacking, hopefully some other members can help.

Try dumping the disc to your hard drive and see if that helps. I haven't bothered to try the EGG releases myself since I can just as well play it on the real thing.

I'm a huge fan of game music, but its very expensive

Hey, thanks for checking out my blog pages. I have a guide for LOX I that I promise will be available soon, I just have to finish merging two old guides into one, to make it more comprehensive.
As for game music, my "prized" CD right now is FF VI signed by Uematsu at the first U.S. FF concert. I am hoping to get Yuzo Koshiro to sign some Ys CDs at the upcoming Play concert. The Dracula New Classic and Shining the Holy Ark are probably my most expensive ones. Those are HARD TO FIND. Other than that, I love Ys to death and PC Engine chip music, like that found in the Legend of Xanadu games.
My current favorite Ys OST is Oath in Felghana. I would have to say my current favorite console game OST is Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song. I can't stop listening to that one.
Also, I will do my best to help in LOX I, since I have played through it, and I know the pain of endless text and backtracking.

Hey, thanks very much! I will definitely keep an eye out for those. I have never heard of Taniguchi Hirofumi either. I do know someone who has never failed when I have requested a rare soundtrack.
