Man, I'm happy enough with Ys ORIGIN, but you guys are working on Xanadu Next as well as some other project. xD Amazing.  Looking forward to the whole of 2010. Every year is a good year to be a Falcom fan.  |

It'd be interesting if it was Zwei!!. I liked the story, but just couldn't get into the gameplay as well as Zwei 2. Accidentally formatted the memory card the save was on on the PSP and haven't been able to bring myself to finish it. Plus it would be pretty cool to side by side the series in representation.  Though ultimately, as long as everyone's toes are happy, I think it'll be shine shine. |

It's gonna be nice to see Xanadu Next translated. Although, tbh, I don't think it should really be a priority, since the gaming process is straightforward enough, and the game doesn't seem to have that deep of a story either.

Xanadu Next has a deep story, though a lot of it is told in the tablets. So it's just a case of "not in your face" and not really any puzzles require the use of Japanese, so it's pretty easy to get through.

Where did you arrive translatin' the game?
Did you use the extracted script files or you translated outside the original files?
I need the first translated files...I mean the first dialogues in the storyline in order to make some tests.
Just waitin' for them and to know how are the proggresses.

Whic theory? BTW...you can send me the translation also outside script files...just do this way: JAP STRING ENG STRING JAP STRING ENG STRING and so on. In this way i'll be able to reimport english ttransltions havin' the japanese string as reference for the translated one. Right? I Need the first ones..I mean the ones about intro on the boat and maybe some of the first village. Thank you Ps screenshots will be provided  |

Yeah, you'll be surprised how deep the story is in Xanadu Next. It's very good stuff! -Tom It seemed to be the usual blehbleh the hero arrived to find the legendary sword to slay the beast that lay dormant for a while but now threatens the village stuff. But you're right, I didn't bother to try to read any of the story, and none of it is voiced, so I'm probably missing out on a lot of it. |
