Does anyone know Falcom's next project?

Has anyone heard what Falcoms next confirmed game will be? I am very curious as to what it might be. I keep hearing everyone talk about a Ys 4 remake and Zweii!! 2, but does anyone know whatis really on the drawing board?

The Ys 4 remake is already out, and they didn't develop it, Taito did. I think they're working on the PC version of Xanadu Next, Legend of Heroes 6 part 2, Ys Strategy, and the arcade versions of Vantage Master and Sorcerian at the moment.

Anybody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't wait for LOH VI part 2. Even though Taito remade Ys IV, there were still rumors of Falcom creating a PC remake of it's own. Look what happened when Taito released the Ys III remake. A few months later, Falcom hit us with Ys The Oath in Felghana. I think it could happen, but I think LOH VI part 2 will hit next as far as PC games go.

- Ys IV Mask of the Sun - A New Theory was not Falcom's project.

- Xanadu Next for PC is already out. The N-Gage version was not developed by Falcom, and it's also out.

- I believe The Legend of Heroes VI Chapter II is finished already. It'll probably be released soon.

- Ys Strategy is not being developed by Falcom. It'll be out in January/February 2006.

- The arcade titles are not being developed by Falcom.


Rumor has it Falcom's working on the YsIV Mask of the Sun remake now. After that YsV and then finally YsI-II. All of them using the YsVI engine.

thanks everybody , by the way i probably should have been alittle more clear in my first post, i meant for the PC. It is the only system i have so i am not concerned to much of the other games they made, i knew about all of these already i thought there might have been something extra for the PC coming out. at least i will have some time to save up before the next game comes out.

Of course, I'm not intimately familiar with Falcom's history of remaking their games. It seems LoH is highly recommended in these forums, though, so maybe that'll be coming out of next month's paycheck.

So, if Ys VII is made with a new engine, will they remake I-VI in the new style?

Hi , yea i usually go there for the newest info, I have there page bookmarked on my computer but every now and then info slips to the public long before they post it on there site and i was really wondering if any one had heard anything serious.
