*nods* Which, if I'm not mistaken, I might have 16 of those CDs.

I might be interested in Nihon Falcom Special Offer #2216 (the 4 soundtracks + random 3 bonus Ys III music CDs) so if and when someone orders it, please confirm what kind of release the three extra discs are. Please also list the catalogue/serial numbers for the individual discs too, if possible. This is just to confirm whether wyrdwad's theory is true (i.e. the bonus music CDs are original printings). Now for something slightly different. As we all know, Nihon Falcom can do no wrong (well, apart from perhaps re-releasing the Ys I & II games for the umpteenth time, though to be completely fair, nobody has a gun pointed to their head and being forced into buying it, that's obviously absurd, but anyway, I digress). Unfortunately I'm no longer part of the "Nihon Falcom can do no wrong" group. I once bought Special Offer #2121 (about one year ago) which was the Brandish: Dark Revenant PSP set (Brandish PSP game + Guidebook + Soundtrack). I paid for it and when it arrived, the Brandish: Dark Revenant soundtrack was not there. I e-mailed Falcom asking if they could send the missing item and the response I got was this: And that's it. No partial refund, no re-sending of missing item, no prior e-mail (before shipping of item) to inform me that the OST was out of stock. Since I'm an impartial person, the other side of the story is that, I, as usual, paid for the items after the sale ended. So it was partially my fault too for not paying in time while the Brandish PSP was in stock. Anyway, I like Nihon Falcom and they always give good deals on their own items (i.e. it's cheaper to buy Nihon Falcom games from Nihon Falcom themselves them from other shops) so I just quietly accepted this loss after the above e-mail. Of course, I will also continue buying from them as stated in the first paragraph. I would've liked to own the Brandish PSP OST though .

Given the limited English, it's entirely possible that they assumed you wanted to buy the soundtrack CD by itself? I dunno. *shrug*

Given the limited English, it's entirely possible that they assumed you wanted to buy the soundtrack CD by itself? I dunno. *shrug* Actually, that's a possible scenario since they didn't actually acknowledge the mistake (e.g. sorry for not sending, etc...). It's been so long (1 year) so I just checked my old e-mails again. I did the usual ordering process: using a simple e-mail with little to no English, just quoting the special offer order number and my financial details (in advance). They replied back with the shipping quote for this particular order. I confirmed ("It is okay"), then they shipped the items and my account debited later. When I received the items, the Brandish PSP soundtrack was not there so I quoted and replied to the Falcom receipt e-mail (item list, shipping price, receipt number, EMS number, etc...) asking if they could ship the missing item. In the subject field of the e-mail, I added "MISSING ITEM" so I'm sure they didn't miss that, even if English isn't their first language. They replied exactly as shown in my previous post above. I forgot but looking at my e-mail history now, it turns out I replied to that e-mail too, asking Falcom if they could add the missing OST to my next order (because they owe me it). For reasons unknown, I have not received a reply since then so communication ended here.

The wording really makes me think it's just the Felghana bonus CDs minus the pre-arrange, but I dunno.
I'm tempted by the offer though, I want the Seven and Chronicles OSTs, and wouldn't say no to the Origin one because I don't have it. Already got 6's though.
Mmm, decisions decisions...

Oh man, I'd do that if I could. I really feel like some big money things are coming, so I need to make some cash.

Wow layzee, that's a really sucky situation. You probably already grabbed the OST off the net by now, but if it still means anything to you I can offer you a rip in the format of your choice from my own copy of the soundtrack. You did pay for it, after all!

It says Ys 3 Complete Sound works. maybe it's the same thing as the Ys Oath In Felghana limited edition contents. But you never know until you order it.

Got my copy of Ys Complete today, only took about a week. Are there any sites with an installation guide on?

So tempting for Zwei 2+ and the guide... but no, must refrain. I'm already overspent on frivolous goods this month and Super Street Fighter IV isn't even out yet!

Thanks, it was easy. I'm having an issue with the game though. The image is stretched so the edges are cut off. Is there any way around this? I guess it's a widescreen issue.

Consider this week's deal bought. Thanks And thanks for all of the help in the PM! I suppose there's nothing more to say other than, wow, that's really indepth and a lot of help! So, guys, any real success stories from Falcom's store? I'm trying to convince my mother of allowing me to order from it, since it seems slightly sketchy. So, what are some great examples of their service? I've ordered a number of times now, from special offers, to preorders to just things I wanted. Never had a problem. I personally use my debit card which is a mastercard type. It can run as debit or credit, which I mention in every email. > Thank you for an inquiry of Falcom mail order service. > The total price is as follows. > > Price (Japanese-yen) > 6,600 yen :2217 YsI&II・SEVEN & Zwei2 plus Set > 3,000 yen :shipping and handling > ----------------------------------- > 9,000 yen :total > > *This game is only for Japanese edition Windows. > A game may not work if you don't have Japanese Windows. > Approve it in advance.
So does this mean applocale wouldn't work? Or are they just taking precautions?

When I bought Ys VI in some random store in Japan, it was funny to see the clerk trying to make absolutely sure that I could play it by pointing out system requirements, the OS, that it was for Japanese Windows, etc
...now mind you at this point I had already owned and flawlessly played Felghana and Origin on my PC, so I knew what I was getting into. Heck, while on the trip I even played it on my work laptop.

Well, that seemed like a heck of a deal to me for Zwei II+ and Ys Chronicles and the bonuses seemed nice too! I went ahead and place my order for it today, so hopefully they haven't already run out of stock.
I haven't gotten my "Please be waiting" message yet, so...
Kinda sucks that I recently got an open box of Zwei II+ off of Yahoo Japan Auctions before I saw this. But, if that open box of Zwei II+ comes with all of the contents, I suppose I can always sell the new unopened one here. : )

I'll probably be getting Plus after Felghana, Ys vs. SnK, and Seven. I finally have a (mostly) steady source of income, and can afford more Falcom products!

Skye they haven't replied to my last email in a few days either. Probably on another vacation. It was my reply saying that was fine. Sent another one just to try and be more clear with still no reply.
