www.falcom.com/ys_20th/jdk_live/index.htmlIt's NEW JDK Band, no Tomohiko Kishimoto, no Yasuharu Takanashi. It's totally NEW~ Some of the new members: Mikihito Tanaka (guitar) Masaru Teramae (guitar) Atsushi Enomoto (Bass) etc... (I don't know how to spell others' name....) Falcom Unused Music 2007 can be available during that day~~

When I saw that, I got really excited, but without Kishimoto, I'm gonna cry. Anyway, I bet they will still rock. Here's to hoping we get a new line of JDK Band CDs. A new version of Ernst will be coming too! Yay!

sadly I'm not going back to Japan until August 2008 but without Kishimoto is understandable, because that guy is probebly now in his 50s, you don't wat to see a Japanese guy with gray long hair in a wheelchair just kidding, hopefully the album is also available later in the falcom shop, otherwise I'll just send an email requesting it

oh wow Why can't I be living happily in Japan right now? I sure hope us less unfortunate ones can gets some audio/visuals on this thing from a kind, lucky fellow 9/29, all eyes are on You Tube I doubt they'd ever play Chase of Shadow I'd just love to hear a JDK version of that. Illusion from Ys IV would be cool too... with the lights changing to the pace of the music the few they've got on that program list is awesome enough anyways, though. On a barely related side-note... has anyone heard the arranged Goodbye Esaka from KoF 2000? It's been rocking my mind for weeks.

That would be awesome. I can only imagine what an honor it would be to actually play in the JDK Band. I hope the new lineup can live up to the original.

According to the official site, they've made a DVD with some extracts from the 8th October show as their mail order extra along with the 2008 calendar, in the same way they did the 2007 calendars last year. It's not for sale normally, and it's not the full thing. No word if they're going to release a full one, but at the very least we know they must have recorded it so the possibility is there.

question for those who know Japanese:
at the end of the DVD mentioned above a message in Japanese comes, stating something about JDK Band and 2008. my guess it says something like:
"JDK Band will return in 2008"
Am I correct about this guess? that would be awesome. hopefully they have a concert in August, since I'll be in Japan at that time.
