Hi! Now then, with the introduction out of the way... Nightwolve's board is a bit slow, so I thought I'd also come here and ask: I decided to get in on Falcom's current Limited Edition Felghana/Ys Origin combo deal, but the shipping is a lot higher than my previous order for Ys I+II Complete and regular Felghana (which was about 2400 yen). This time it's about 4700 yen, presumably because of the giganto Limited Edition Felghana with all of the CDs. (I'll find a friend who will appreciate the extra copy of Felghana... for reimbursement, of course!) So I was wondering if there are any recommendations for something additional I could order to help distribute the shipping cost a bit? I see so many games which intrigue me, but I really know very little about Falcom's other series. Is there anything else with translations available, or anything which is fairly gameplay-heavy and story-light? I've got couple semesters worth of basic Japanese courses under my belt (my professor inopportunely decided to die before I could go on to more advanced stuff), and I can usually pick out place names, items, where to go/what to do next, if I have to. Thanks.

Xanadu Next is pretty fun and you dont need to know Jap to play it. Thiers a good walkthru on game faqs I believe. Gurumin is also a pretty good game. Thiers Vids on Youtube of them both

Also supporting the recommendation of Gurumin. There's a few bits you might become a little stuck, but the game is fun enough to be more than worth it.

Thanks for the recommendations! I ended up just sticking with the Felghana/Origin set by itself, since I didn't want to complicate things by trying to change the order. But I'll definitely keep all the games mentioned in mind... if that English PC release of Gurumin falls through, I think I may very well try to order it at some point. And Zwei!! looks like it does a better job of being a Mana game than the actual recent Mana games...
