Just one question... Is "Bu-ra-su-to" (Blast?) Supposed to be General Leo? Because his description says Romun Empire General... Just curious thanks!

thanks for the pictures, by the way welcome to the site my friend. as for the picture of the characters i wonder if the last one is suppossed to be the last boss from the PC Engine, Lafance (spelling?), and not Leo he looks majorly different from leo in that pic. i do not know why but of all the upcoming Ys games this is the only one that really does not intrest me, i really am not that big on the graphics or artwork. i really wish the would make a Ys IV The Dawn of Ys Eternal for the PC useing the game engine and graphics of the new Ys III and Ys VI then i would truly be happy

Thanks for the welcome I've been lurking but never bothered to register until now haha. Anyways I think that old Romun General might be Leo's replacement and it seems his name is "Brast/Blast/Burasuto"? I think the new Eldeel art fits really well and really makes him more Eldian looking with the light clothing and silvery blue hair. But yea Dawn of Ys remade with OoF or AoN's engines would be AMAZING


P.S. I'm a huge Ys Official art collector so if you guys need anything let me know. I have a bunch of Ys V character art but dont know the names of lots of people so if you guys could help me out with that it'd be very much appreciated My AIM is Golden Philemon if you want to contact me about it.

I'm pretty sure Leo is in MOTS, though, I can't remember what he looked like, he might've played a smaller part. And Lefance is deffinitly not the last boss in DOY, Lefance is one of the good guys who fought against Arem, the lord of slaughter, the last boss, & the guy who they're trying to resurect in the begining. And Seldane, are you yanking our chains about Dawn of Ys Eternal? I mean, that would be beautiful, but, where did you hear it?

Hmm, another thing, though no ones mentioned it lately, I think that guy right before Vami( I think that's how it's spelled in MOTS, as opposed to Bami) is Gruder(or Garuda). Not to mention Gadis after Vami. Man, I pretty much love everything about DOY, including the way the characters look, not to mention they changed them a little for this version of MOTS.

Good, so it's not just me that thought the names we're messed up......not that I know how to translate, but, I've heard the names Garuda & Bami for years, before the MOTS translation!

Another off-topic post: a friend has read about it on Japanese message boards. There are rumors of YsIV (The Dawn of Ys) Eternal as well as a new Ys game based on the Five Huge Dragons of Altago (as mentioned on the loading screen in Ys ETERNAL).
