Stuck(Read Inside For Detailed Info)

Okay, so I started the game and got ready to play. Leveled and I did the following things.

1. Talk to people in beginning town
2. Got ready to move out
3. Adol and Flair's wagon got stuck for some reason.
4. Ran into some bandits' hideout.
5. Got JAIL'D by Romun Troops and smacked down the boss that wanted me for dinner.
6. Upgraded armor and went to cavern that leads to Komodo.
7. Passed through the cavern to make it to the Highlands, where I meet ALL of the villagers that automatically HATE my guts(Uhh... wasn't I supposed to fight Lemnos as a minotaur here?!), keep in mind Carna was still with me until she LEFT ME HANGING AT HIGHLAND WHEN I SPOKE WITH NIENA!
8. Traveled further out through the forests, rain, sleet, snow(Uhh.. wasn't a lightning bolt supposed to fry me and then I get smacked around like a little **** by Gruder, Bammy, and Gades?)
9. Made it to the ice place, got the ice crystal(ornament) and got all of the ice equipment and beat Gades's ice golem summon (wasn't I supposed to get a magic sword?)
10. Ran into the old dude who was studying the cavern marks.
11. Went back to Highland... no progression except that I am in a wild goose chase.

...What am I missing? I mean, I can't enter that center part of the cavern where I ASSUME that I should be able to fight the Minotaur, and I haven't been strucked by lightning...


ALSO! I'm at level 20, I have all of the cool ice armor---until I went back to Komodo and Highland to upgrade the armor and the sword, but I haven't found any of the magical swords yet.

You are in the exact same situation I'm in. I ran around a lot and ran into Carna, it seemed like she was crying. Then I found another village, and it won't let me leave. Luckily I made backup files. If you get unstuck, let me know, or I will try to help you also.

...Where did you run into Carna? What village or forest or cavern?

Ah! Here we go. The blue rock that you pick up from the church, have it equipped when you study the wall that the old man is looking at. You'll trigger an event that'll grant you the Ice sword.

Also, do the elemental swords have cool names now? Or is it still 'Ice Sword' 'Fire Sword' and 'Thunder Sword'?

I had actually gotten the ice sword, I just don't know where Carna went, after I ran into her exiting the forest, (the one close to Komodo,) or how to get out of the town I'm stuck in. The old man from the Ice cave is there, and he spoke a lot, but after that, it won't let me leave the town. If anyone can help me, where should I go after obtaining the ice sword?

You have to get the ice sword upgraded at the blacksmith by equipping the ice stone and ice sword. Then go to the mayors house and talk to the maid. Go to the basement and talk to the mayor. You can now exit and go to the fire cave thats just outside of the town.

Hey, thanks a lot! I didn't think I would enjoy this game, but I'm really starting to now. I like the music in the fire cave the most so far. Now onward!
