I'm Canadian and i've never heard anyone say that... is that a recent term? haven't gotten out much lately nor do I have friends... that drink beer. Actually, I can never remember when Victoria Day is... I just wait till the commotion starts up in may... or suddenly hear fireworks out of nowhere. Guess i'll remember now, thanx

I've actually heard that expression for some incredibly shocking (and unknown) reason.

I typically only hear it referred to as the two-four weekend. I'm not sure when that slang came about but I believe I first heard it a few years ago. Do you have any sayings to share? :D

Me and my friends say "REESE!" It basically means "Yeah, Right". Other variations on it are "Oh, key" (short for oh, killer) Another one is "killer mister". All of these mean the same thing. Reese! also means you're pissed if you lost a match in Mario Kart or Street Fighter.
Here's some more: "Liptus" means good-bye, so does "Hasty", which is a variation on Hasta la Vista.
"Beetroot" is our word for automobile gas. It's pulled from the movie Twins. The Line where Danny DeVito says "I gassed her up for you Mr. Beetroot".

Sorry, don't have any slangs or idioms... haven't gotten out much lately nor do I have friends... that drink beer. well, I used to say some random stuff with my bro and cousins... but I forgot most of that now. "Ohhh lud..." was one from a long time back. It's how my old uncle used to sound when he said "oh lord" at funny moments, so me and my brother started saying it that way too.

White face.. Well..My slang.. It comes originally from JapanesE£ºÃæ°×¤¤£¨¤ª¤â¤·¤í¤¤£©,which means interesting in Japanese...while meaning of the two Chinese Characters in Chinese is "white face".So I often say Ãæ°×¡¡when I say something is interesting.... And i extended this usage to English .. Though a little complicated.~ JUst for fun~.
