Well hello.

I am Necromage and as far as I am concered Ys Book I & II (as released on the turbografix-16 in 1989 or 90) is the best game ever made (with doom II comming in a close second). Growing up I had (and still have) a turbografix and this game. I have pratically memorized everything about it and I still play from time to time. I also have Ys III for the turbografix and when I finnally got around to actually beating it last month I was disapointed.

To do list: find a way to get a hold of the rest of the games in english and not pay a lot.

Oh I see. So you were one of those spoiled bastards whose parents shelled out the half-a-grand to buy you the freakin cd attatchment, well good for you! I'm totally kidding, just had to say it and welcome aboard. I had a turbo when I was a kid (still do somewhere) but I never got the cd expansion, and actually I am just playing Ys I & II (turbo version) for the first time right now! I'm currently trying to beat the green head that spits out the snake, it seems hard to me. Anyway, I'm rambling, welcome to the forum, it has a lot of cool members who are really helpful. Holler if you need anything.

Ah, but you see, my parents are cheep as hell. My dad waited untill the turbo was going out so that you can get all the nice little attachments for next to nothing.

I'm currently trying to beat the green head that spits out the snake, it seems hard to me.

My suggestion is to keep running around the outside of the room and when he opens his mouth to let the snake spit out just start shooting the head with the magic of fire. I also suggest being around level 51.
