Is this the right place to put this?? It's not really a troubleshooting but rather then a question...
I've got some recorded programs that I want to put on CDs but I don't have the TV/OUT on my computer. I read that I can connect a VCR to the computer through the USB port which I have. I also read that connecting the VCD to the computer through the Firewire is even better (I have ONE).
How much do these converter cost?? Any suggestions/idea?
Thanks!

Well, the only thing that I know of is purchasing a tv-card, which will have a "TV-in" connection. I dunno about the other stuff but this is 100% sure to be working. You can get a tv-card for a cheap price.

Actually, gfx cards with Tv-in are usually EXTREMELY expensive! TV-out is on EVERY new gfx card, but using that, you can just use your TV as a monitor. You can not use your monitor as a TV.

TV-OUT and TV-IN are indeed very different, TV-IN cards are cheap maybe 50-70 US$, with such a card recording software is usually included and it allowes you to record stuff of tv or a vcr and convert it into avi and other types files. TV-OUT is usually on your video card, a TV-In card is a seperate card....and as seldane said, Video cards with TV-IN are extremely expencive
