Does anyone know anything about hardwares? I went to upgrade my computer from ME to XP and the cd-rom decided to not read DVDs anymore.
It worked for like 10min but after I restarted it stopped working... It took me an entire day to get the DCHP and the audio stuff back online... I haven't been able to figure out the dvd rom... heeellpp!!!
Yes, I've already looked a drivers from the manufacturer's page but they dont have any. (Pioneer DVDRom DVD-116R) And the firmware wasn't helpful either... anyone have any more ideas??

your problem is the mayor problem with win XP, some older hardware don't support win XP. when I upgraded my PC (old P II 350Mhz) to XP like half the hardware stopped working. so that PC is still on win 98....
